Wonderful nurses! IV didn't even hurt! Thorough and organized. Wonderful experience!
The entire team at Lincoln Endoscopy Center was fantastic. Dr. Thomas and the nursing team was exceptional, highly recommend this practice.
This was my 4th colonoscopy, lucky me, and every time I was treated with respect and courtesy. This time like all the others everyone one was friendly, explained what was next before we started. After the procedure Dr. Rife came in and sat with me for a few minutes and explained the results and made sure I was doing OK. Blake the anesthesiologist even came in and checked on me afterwards. My nurse Lanel was great. Chatted with me and took great care of me. Everyone made an uncomfortable experience go as smooth as possible, and it is greatly appreciated.
Very professional, caring, and proficient in their work. I had my first colonoscopy performed here, and couldn't ask for a better experience. Let's face it, no one enjoys having a colonoscopy performed, but all of the employees here treat you like they understand what you are going though, and that you probably aren't feeling optimum after drinking the prep solution the day/night before. Everyone from the reception/check-in to the release when they help you to your designated driver, are very professional and compassionate. My prep tech was very nice, who got me prepared for my procedure, and explained how everything would go. Before my procedure, my anesthetist came in and asked me a few questions, and also explained what she would be doing. She was also very nice. Then, my doctor, Dr Laura Vance, came in and talked to me. She was also very friendly and professional. For quite a while leading up to my procedure, I had been feeling anxious and fearful of her finding something abnormal, so to ease my fear, I had been trying to convince myself that no abnormities would be found. During my conversation with Dr Vance, my anxiousness cam out and I stated that I didn't think she was going to find anything. A normal response from a doctor at this remark would be "anyone could develop abnormities', or 'well, we will be the judge of that'. Instead, Dr Vance just smiled, nodded politely and replied "Well, if I were to find anything, these are the actions that I will be taking...'. And she then explained very plainly what she would do if she were to find anything. Before Dr Vance arrived, my prep tech assured me not to be concerned about her young age, that she was very skilled in her work, and she was right. The procedure was very quick, painless, and I didn't remember a think since they do put you under for just a few minutes. Everyone on the team assured me that I already went through the worst part of the process, which is drinking the bowel prep the day and night before. The whole process from the time I walked in the door from the time I was released was less than 1.5 hours. I was given a clear understanding what would be done, and how long it would take. They were correct, since I just needed to show up, and they took care of everything. The team that did the procedure were all very friendly, and knew exactly what to do for their role in the process. That same afternoon, I had a little cramping, from the bowel prep solution I had the night earlier, but, by the next day, I felt like my normal self, and was back to get back to my normal activities and eating my normal diet. I had no bleeding or pain, testament of the great work of Dr Vance and her team. If you're needing a colonoscopy performed, but are holding off because you are unsure about having the procedure done, don't hold off. It is not as bad as you may think, and your decision may save your life.
This place is more concerned with money than about patient care. I was on the phone longer with the billing person who went into more detail than the person in the clinic did going over the questionnaire and explaining my procedure to me. They were just as awful over ten years ago with not even following up when I had a bad experience with a "routine procedure". They haven't changed one bit. I'd rather drive further to get quality care! Please be aware of their assembly line care - it could cost you your health, and they won't care because all they care about is getting your money!
