This clinic demonstrated a shocking lack of medical coordination, professionalism, and basic respect for patients. We clearly disclosed during the initial consultation that she is on peritoneal dialysis (PD). Despite having this critical information, the clinic itself scheduled a colonoscopy and provided prep instructions—never once flagging that PD would be an issue. The patient then endured the colonoscopy prep while actively on dialysis, which is physically exhausting, painful, and medically taxing under the best circumstances. Anyone familiar with PD understands how brutal this is. Only on the day of the procedure, after the patient arrived, checked in, and waited over an hour, did the clinic finally inform us that the procedure could not be done because she is on PD and that the clinic was not equipped for that. Even worse, they didn’t have the decency or professionalism to disclose this at check-in. They let us sit there—after full prep—only to cancel. This was not a last-minute medical discovery. This was information the clinic had from the beginning and failed to act on. The result was unnecessary physical suffering, wasted time, emotional distress, and a complete breakdown in care. For a medical practice, this level of oversight is unacceptable. For a dialysis patient, it is dangerous and disrespectful. Patients deserve coordination, competence, and transparency—none of which were shown here. Proceed with extreme caution if you value your health, time, and dignity.

Anytime you are going to go under anesthesia it's always a bit unnerving and you may walk in with that apprehension against you. That said the staff, nurses, physicians are all amazing. Dr. Shih did my colonoscopy and was friendly and smiling when I went into the procedure room. Whoever really wants to have this done? The friendliness and compassion of everyone there made this entire experience so easy and stress free.

I have had a few colonoscopies here and staff have always been professional and caring. I would definitely recommend this surgery center for the quality of care. I have been here two other times with the same insurance and have just paid my regular $100 copay without any other outstanding balances. Unfortunately, this last time I owe $2600 beyond my copay. Upon check in for my procedure, it was confirmed that everything was in order and my insurance had approved my procedure with the regular copay. Months later I received a $2600 balance I am responsible for despite many calls to the facility and my insurance. I have spoken to other individuals that have had procedures here, and they report the same issue. I would caution having a procedure here if you do not want to pay thousands of dollars of unexpected costs.

New patient of Dr. Stone. Scheduled for Colonoscopy & Endoscopy @ 0700, which I've had 11 years prior for comparison. Received texts, emails, phones calls from several for health history (very thorough) confirming, copay amount etc., We arrived 20 minutes early. Parking in front of building. Front desk Jane very attentive & professional. Building is very clean & cold, but it's winter & you don't want a warm health care facility that promotes growth of anything. Pre-op RN Rizni very thorough & spent time on my history. Procedure RNs Taddy & Marjorie, Procedure Tech Joy, Recovery Male RN Chris? all Stellar, personable, & professional. Excellent safety protocols in all aspects. Anesthesiologist only 1 of 3 in my entire career personable & said can call me Eddie. Dr. Stone before & after Procedures. Everything explained. Warm & extra blankets. Given a card with staff titles & names on a card with receipt. Wheelchaired out to vehicle. I have 32 years of very varied & diverse experience including teaching Nursing at several schools of Nursing including UNLV & at all 3 undergrad levels & all of your staff instructors did an excellent job & would be so proud of all of them. It's quite a drive for us from Centennial Hills & come in on Arby not Warm Springs. Everyone there deserves recognition & raises! Cynthia Privitera BSN, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, DAPWHC

I was called days before my appointment and rescheduled an hour earlier from 1020a to 920a even though "Dr. Ryan is usually running late". So, I show up an hour early, and of course Dr. Ryan is behind by an hour for my original scheduled time. I asked the person at the check in desk, but she didn't know anything, just blamed the nurse who made the appointment. Looks pretty unorganized and unprofessional to me. Hopefully Dr. Ryan is not a complete disorganized mess. I'm actually skeptical about getting an endoscopy at this location now. Not feeling confident they can provide decent health care if they can't even get their scheduling correct. Update: Ryan didn't look interested in talking to me or giving me much information before the procedure or results after. I actually had to ask the RN if I could talk to the doctor before the procedure, then he went and got him to come over and answer some questions. Probably just trying to rush through patients, because 3 hours into his day and he's already running late.
