Absolutely brilliant! Had knee surgery here today and all of the doctors and nurses were fantastic. The whole thing moved a lot faster than surgery I’ve had at other hospitals. I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. One can only assume that they think they’re the only person getting surgery and the world must revolve around them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ For my sake, I hope I don’t need any more surgeries, but if do, I know I’m in good hands here.

Fell off ladder from 5'. Went to NNMC who took x-rays. They inturn sent me out with a referral to ROC in reno to get MRI. Upon calling ROC, three times after asking VERY specific questions, the girl told me I could go elsewhere. Why send people there when the patient is just gonna get pushed away. What a horrible phone call.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT GO THERE FOR SURGERY!! The only nice person was the lady at the front desk. The anesthesiologist was pretty nice though. From there it all went downhill. They push people in and out like cattle! No bedside manner AT ALL! Most of the nurses were not very kind, friendly, or compassionate with the exception of two. (And it was minimal) The nurse that put in my IV was very cold & DEFINITLY LACKED compassion! My surgeon did not introduce himself. I had only seen him once and I had no idea who he was when he just showed up for 5 seconds. He didn’t even acknowledge my husband! Now the physical therapist was THE ABSOLUTE WORST! She must be fresh out of a military hospital, because her mannerisms definitely came across that way. She said to me “I understand that your previous hip surgery was done in a hospital setting and that you had an over night stay for pain control. It is not going to be that way here! YOU WILL HAVE A LOT OF PAIN. On the scale of 1-10 it WIL BE a 7! If you do not cooperate with my PT after surgery, you WILL be taken to the hospital by ambulance so either you cooperate with me or you go straight to the hospital! THOSE ARE YOUR TWO CHOICES!! She was the RUDEST of them all. The only reason I proceeded to have surgery there, is because I had planned (for months) to have the time off for this and my IV was already in. I SERIOUSLY contemplated leaving. I ended up doing the surgery (under great distress). When I woke up I WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN(my previous surgeon had given me an epidural and a nerve block so I had virtually no pain ) They gave me an ORAL medicine for the pain which didn’t take effect for about 40 minutes! Prior to surgery when the anesthesiologist came in and talk to me after the physical therapist, he mentioned that they could put something right into my IV to take get pain under control, but that did not happen! They got me up on my feet and moving right away, which is fine. I get that it’s part of the recovery, but it felt very cold and matter of fact & I felt that they were in a huge hurry to get me out of there. The whole place is lacking compassion and kindness, and does not care about the patient’s comfort at all!!!

Horrible experience on multiple occasions. Their customer service is terrible -it took threats of me walking in and creating a scene before they'd see me after my surgery because I was concerned about an infection. They NEVER call back (the doc's staff or the billing managers). My wound was painful, dark red oozing puss and the pin was pushing itself out of my skin. That got pulled out with pliers in about five minutes and I got a bill for thousands for that "service". After multiple rounds of different antibiotics over a period of months they figured out it was MRSA and had to schedule another surgery to scrape it out and find the stiches they left in. My finger is works worse than when I went in, they charged me $5k (after insurance), and I was out of work for weeks. I was discussing with friends recently at a bbq and two of them told similar stories. So frustrating.
