I went in for my surgery today, showed up on time. The receptionist greeted me and asked me to sit and told me that the gentlemen sitting next to her would help me as soon as he was ready. My wife and I had no issues, I got up and walked to the front, my wife cut herself and I was going to simply ask for a band aid. This dude side eyes me and is visibly disturbed because I was walking towards him. I greeted him and his response was "I'm almost done, I'll call you when I'm ready" I replied "That's cool but I have a unrelated request, any chance I bother you for a band aid." Afterwards he was ok, we got the bandaid. The rest of the staff, the pre op nurses, anesthesiologist, Dr, post op staff were amazing. My pre op nurse lightened my anxiety by continuously joking with me, definitely made me calmer. Can't give them 5 stars due to the minor incident. I understand he may have been busy but compassion to those who are going under is key for the patients who are anxiously waiting for their procedures.

Just got my Achilles patched up here today. They were courteous - very nice nurses, and the waiting room looks/feels brand new. The surgery prep rooms were a little tight, but they get the job done.

I had my cervical epidural today . I had such a horrible experience with Registered Nurse name Jennifer.R in recovery department, she was so racist to me because I’m Indian she was rushing me she didn’t let me stay in recovery room not even 5 mins while I was still dizzy and in pain , she pulled my IV and let me bleed and took her sweet time to put the badge over . I asked her if I can stay longer so I can finish my drink and I also requested if she can call my husband to help me put back my clothes but she ignored me , I had to put on my clothes by self she didn’t explain me what would be my after care at home . When I arrived home I got injured on my left thigh I hit the side of my t.v cabinet while I was still dizzy and my back was so stiff that I couldn’t feel anything 🥹🥹. Later I had to call the office around 4.30pm asking if Iam allowed to take pain medication , my question is why there hire such ignorant , racist ,careless and rude person like her . I used to get my procedure there all times when it was still Surgery center of Reno now they are owned by SWIFT Medical ,please everyone read the reviews before making appointments at that location. Nothing is same as last year , new staff with attitude

If I ever have another surgery on anything, I would highly recommend this surgery center, the staff was hands down the best people that I've been around in that type of environment, totally professional, totally attentive and totally kind. Thank you very much

Caring and attentive personnel and a wonderful experience! So I thankfully have never needed surgery before now. I had to have a discectomy and was booked here for the surgery a few days ago. The staff here were all wonderful and caring people. I was informed at every step from the moment I walked in as to what was happening. Every person from the doctors and nurses who were going to be in the operating room stopped by and introduced themselves to me. Since I've never had surgery I was really nervous about the procedure but they all made new feel relaxed and at ease about it. Once the surgery was over and I woke up the follow up care from the nurses was also excellent! I was required to stay the night after the surgery and the nurses were attentive and caring the entire time. Thank you to all the staff and nurses and doctors!
