The surgeon is phenomenal, empathetic and understanding. I thought the staff was nice. After going a few times I thought everything was fine. The last two times, my IV infiltrated which means it blew, I'm not receiving the meds I need for pain relief because it's no longer in my vein.. so apparently I'm an emotional person and need someone to stand next to me because of all the pain I was having. Sure I was having pain because I wasn't receiving any of the meds being administered! I did not appreciate that nor anyone treating me as if my pain wasn't valid. I was in severe pain and in tears and noone was listening until I fell asleep when I began to wake up I heard the staff talking about me. It was hurtful. The front reps were the sweetest. Now a necessary procedure I needed was canceled because they're not equipped or capable of assisting or providing the necessary tools or help to see it through. That was the last straw. I'm actually kind of glad I don't need to go back there. It's been scheduled at an amazing hospital. Unfortunately, I will never go back to this place. I should of learned the first time. As a nurse, if they talk about their fellow coworkers I should know they'll talk about me (patient)when I walk out. I'm very upset and disappointed.
