I am 72 yrars old and recently (9/16) had a double procedure, colonoscopy and endoscopy. My experience turned bad once I entered the procedure room. The nurse responsible for inserting the oxygen cannula was late and complained how tangled the hose was. When I awoke my nose was running and I started having pain in my left nostril. This pain got worse over the next few hours making it painful to breathe. It was like a bad sinus infection with a bloody discharge. Obviously the cannula was poorly placed causing significant nostril irritation. Also, I have had this procedure done numerous times. Every time I was met at my bed with a wheelchair to take me to my car. This was the first time that was not done. As I was led to my waiting wife still feeling the anesthesia, I passed 6 idle wheelchairs parked against the wall. Respectfully submitted James Girvan
Had my first colonoscopy here with an excellent gastroenterologist from Atlantic Health. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly. Had no wait time and was treated with respect and felt listened to from every person, nurse, anesthesiologist, and doctor I interacted with. Very pleased with my care. Thank you for making this a seamless procedure!
This place is the absolute worst. If I could give it a negative rating I would. The staff is extremely nasty. The refund process for overpayment is absurd. I have already reported them to my insurance company for lack of refund for overpayment. I am reporting them to the State of NJ now. I will also be informing my provider that I will NOT be using this center for my next procedure.
My husband was supposed to have a procedure at 1:30 pm and it was going to take 2 hours maximum. They were going to call me when he was ready to be picked up. I came back to the office at 3:30 and told the nurse sitting at the desk that I'm here and so they don't need to call me. She, in a rude tone told me that they'll call me as I am marked for a phone call. An hour later, I asked a nurse who happened to be passing by for an update. She sent someone out a few minutes later and I was told that my husband was taken in at 4:18, almost 2 hours late. No one had the courtesy to tell me this until I asked. I wouldn't make an appointment at this office. People are not very helpful here.
I had a great experience. Check in person was friendly. My nurse was great, efficient, and caring. The 2 procedure nurses were kind and caring. The facility was clean. I had a colonoscopy and I’m glad I didn’t listen to the bad reviews. Bridgewater was much more convenient than Morristown for me. Everything was on time too!
