This was my second time having a colonoscopy at this location, and once again, I was so impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived at 6:00 a.m., I was greeted with genuine friendliness. The check-in process and paperwork were quick and easy, and my nurse, Dan, was especially kind and caring. The entire procedure was efficient and seamless. In a world where negativity often overshadows good experiences, I want to give a heartfelt shout-out to the entire staff here for their professionalism, warmth, and exceptional care.
rude and no patience . front desk doesn’t listen to patient inquiries . go somewhere else . there are better places option to go for it . nurses is not compassionate to patient needs . the nurse left me without saying a word to sit or lay down for the preparation to test . the chairs are not comfortable and its very difficult to get off the chair without an armrest and risky to fall. there is no much communication as to what to expect of the test . i would go somewhere else .
My experience with Northern NJ Endoscopy Center was an absolute disaster. Their billing system is a mess—I tried paying through their website, but it kept giving me errors...sometimes I wouldn't even let me login. Instead of fixing the issue, they kept sending my bill to an address I haven’t lived at in three years—an address I NEVER even LISTED on my forms! They just shared my personal infos to whoever lives in that house. The only communication I ever received was one voicemail 2 weeks ago asking for me for another address(my new address was listed on the pages of forms I signed before the procedure)—no mention whatsoever that they were planning to send the bill to collections. Today, I found out through an email from a debt collector that they sent my account to collections for a ridiculous $50 in less than six months. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the procedure itself was awful. The nurse was completely incompetent, jabbing both my arms and hands multiple times trying to find a vein, leaving me covered in bruises. She has to wait(after multiple attempts) for the anesthesiologist who lacked any bedside manners, coming across as cold and indifferent. There was no effort to make me feel comfortable—just an impersonal, robotic approach that added to an already miserable experience.
I had a great experience today for my endoscopy. The staff here are very friendly, patient, and caring. The girl that checked me in was very pleasant. Tony was very kind and made me feel comfortable even though I was very nervous and was gentle when she put in the iv. Dr. Blaszka is the best of course! The anesthesiologist was reassuring and great! And even the man that was there when I woke up and the man that walked me out were great and gentle with me even though I was loopy from the anesthesia still haha. I wish I remembered everyone’s name, but I had an excellent and smooth experience. Thank you all and sorry if I was loopy and silly after I woke up haha!
I recently had a colonoscopy at the Northern New Jersey Center for Advanced Endoscopy in Englewood. If you’re due for one and feeling apprehensive, don’t worry - you’re in great hands here! The staff was amazing! Everyone was so professional, friendly and courteous - from the courteous front desk staff to the very attentive nurses. Dr. Gao is a great Gastro - and performed the colonoscopy with ease. It went smoothly and I had minimal discomfort afterwards. The nurse who stayed with me throughout the recovery was so nice. I appreciate them taking the time to ensure I met with my husband in the waiting room after the procedure. All in all, for someone who dreads these type of things (as I’m sure many do!) - it was a quick and painless procedure. A big thanks to all the staff members who helped make the experience very positive!
