I would like to give a big shout out to Dr. Mardones. She saw my husband last week immediately after he was discharged from the hospital for double vision. She spent a lot of time with him and accurately diagnosed his condition. She obtained hospital records for us and recommended that we see a neuro opthamologist which we did. She made the whole process so much easier and less frightening and went over and above to help us. Thank you Dr Mardones

I saw the new doctor, Dr.Mardones and she was friendly and knowledgeable. She explained everything extremely well and I could understand everything she was saying about my eyes. I felt very comfortable with her. The staff was also really kind and funny. Would definitely come again.

I have been using Opthalmic Physicians of Monmouth County and have seen different doctors since 2012. Appointments are never rushed. I have also been using their contact lens department. I am most pleased with the service I have been receiving from Carol. She is pleasant, knowledgeable and never rushes an appointment. Carol confims the order via a phone call and informs me when my order is ready. The office is lucky to have such a loyal and efficient employee. Without hesitation Carol deserves 5 stars too! 5 stars for Dr.Mardones herself but 1 star for the rest of the staffing especially carol in contacts . I mentioned trialing contacts to every single staff member the secretary who made my appointment , the doctor when doing the exam and when leaving no one ever told me there was $350 price on just contact fitting itself. I was told they would bill my medical insurance and they told me not to give them my eye insurance but then billed my eye insurance without ever notifying me and refused to retract it. Carol was rude and yelled at me in the waiting room when I asked for my eyeglasses prescription and they mistakenly thought I asked for contact prescription and came to the waiting room to speak out in the open that I couldn’t get that rx because I was refusing to pay for the fitting . The way I was treated by the staff was atrocious and I would never recommend nor will I return as a patient myself.

I saw Dr. Siddhapura for my eyes and she was amazing. She took the time to tease out my concerns and address all my questions. Before I saw her I was stuck wearing glasses because I was so uncomfortable with lenses but she took the time to teach me how to properly care for my eyes and use lenses. Now I love how I look when I use contact lens. Not only that the entire team from the front desk to the optician are really helpful and pleasant to work with. They are extremely respectful and friendly. They accommodated my tight schedule to make sure I didn't ignore getting an eye exam.
