July23,2025 I was scheduled for a procedure, and prior to the procedure my copayment of $300 was collected. Consumer please beware, the doctor was unable to perform the procedure. I requested my copayment back said MD stated he was going to look into it. After calling his office and getting the run around I telephone the Gastro Surgi Center on July 29,2025 and I was told I would get a refund because the procedure was unable to be done. that it will not be credited to my credited to my care that I will receive check in 5 business days. Two weeks passed and no check, I called the Gastro Surgi Center and spoke to billing who said I would not be getting any reimbursement back because my insurance company paid them. Billing billed the insurance company for $4000 + as if the procedure had been completed. The insurance company sent them a check for the check in and time $750 on August 9, 2025. The Insurance company telephone them on August 20th to assist me in getting my reimbursement to not avail, they were told everyone was in a meeting, then the young lady Kayla return to the telephone and stated one would come out to speak to the Aetna's supervisor the call was transferred to a voice mail at which time Aetna's supervisor left a detail message. I followed up with certified letter to the Director of Billing Jose Ortiz. Caution to any Medicare patient who have to pay $300 copay prior to any procedure at the above surgi center look else where.

This was the fifth time I had either a colonoscopy or endoscopy here and I want to mention that each time the entire staff was extremely professional, friendly and helped to make me as comfortable as possible. Today I even received a phone call as a follow up to see how I was doing.

I had a medical procedure done here recently, and the entire experience was pleasant and seamless. All of my paperwork was addressed right away, and their reception and medical staff are all very kind and understanding. They have a great location, and they really care. I highly recommend!

This is the 3rd time I had a procedure at this facility. I totally appreciate the professionalism, kindness and caring of the staff. Dr. Kerner is patient, calm, competent and just excellent! Annabelle, Shelly and Pat were outstanding nurses that attended to all that was needed before, during and after the procedure...right down to the terrific coffee! :) They are all aware of the uncomfortable prep of the day before and go out of their way to make the day at their center as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The immaculate and calm design of the center is an added plus. Highly recommended.
