This is not about services. It's about the building. I was very disturbed by the fact that there is only one elevator bay to the surgical center. It was broken. Both elevators. No main desk to ask for help. No stairs. Atlantic Health only leases the premises so they had to literally find out who manages the building to service the elevators. Also the building is aging and dust and dirt in all corners.
Not sure how they can receive anything less than 5 stars. From the moment I arrived we were treated with nothing but care and patience. The receptionist was very welcoming and accommodating. The waiting area was clean and comfortable for those waiting. The nurses, doctor, and anesthesiologists were beyond great! They helped but my mind at ease while I waited for my son to have surgery. They were nice and friendly to my son making him feel so much more comfortable throughout the process. There were no complaints on my behalf!
no communication to family members , give instructions to patient that just had anesthesia. uncomfortable waiting room. waited ten minutes for BR as nurse said it was occupied only to find no one in it just locked, tried to throw out paper towel after washing hands and the only garbage had a lid that had to be manually opened. Gross. This is from a PACU nurse in a different facility. I would never bring a family member here again
Went in for bunion surgery and received the very best care. Elena is The Boss! Thank you so much you’re a rock star. Nurses, Ana, Shanon, Mike and Rose What a team! Front desk smooth even signing all the paperwork was friendly and helpful. The Anesthesiologist was caring and fatherly. The lovely Ana who helped get me ready for surgery and after wheeling me right to the front of my car with a blessed send off. And what can I say about my super hero doctors Rallatos and Kaufman swift skilled and easygoing. THANK YOU EVERYONE
Colonoscopy department was excellent! The nurses Alexsi, Helen and Sarah were great explaining what they were going to do. Great team work among the nurses. Dr. Byers the anesthesiologist was also extremely thorough with what was going to happen next and was able to answer my questions. Dr. Rastogi the surgeon was informative with the process of the procedure and what would happen from beginning to end. The staff was wonderful, caring, friendly and overall made me feel comfortable. You can leave the anxiety at the door!
