What a great experience I had here. The moment I walked in the door until the moment they wheeled me out. I’ve never in my life experienced everyone in a medical setting be this kind and sincere towards me. I recently had arthroscopic surgery on my left knee at the Team MD surgical facility in Woodland Park. I am very pleased with my experience! I have very little pain-just stiffness and soreness. My orthopedic surgeon was Dr. Robert Masella. He did a good job with my arthroscopic surgery. He marked my knee before surgery! Today is 5 days postoperative. The medical team was well organized from the pre-operative experience to the surgery and post operative. They checked my information and details many times. My anesthesiologist, Dr. Samir Patel was very thorough with me. I am a higher risk patient due to my pre-existing conditions. He explained exactly what he was doing and when. I knew I was in good hands! I was particularly impressed by the staff bringing me to our car in a wheelchair. The parking spots are very generous; allowing ample room for the aide to transfer me safely to my car. I was given clear, detailed instructions for my care AND the medical supplies I needed, all in a bag to carry home. I was relieved not to have to go to a pharmacy to purchase bandages and ice pack. The ice pack they provided comes with ties to secure it on my knee! Team MD does a very good job! I highly recommend them. 😊

Every single person from the front desk staff checking me in, to the post-op recovery nurse walking me out the door, was friendly and professional. They made sure I felt comfortable and well informed every step of the way! The pre and post-op nurses are so sweet and do a wonderful job of calling you to make sure you know exactly what to do and what to expect for your upcoming procedure plus call you afterwards at home to check in on your recovery and make sure you don’t have any more questions or concerns. The operating room nurses are very caring and attentive. Shout out the the O.R. nurse who felt it was her duty to inform me before I left the office for the very last time that my blood pressure had been consistently high - which was actually something my PCP and I were currently monitoring. But that kind of compassion demonstrates that these health care professionals are among those that truly care about the wellbeing of their patients. Over the course of about two months, it felt nice to have formed a kind of friendly rapport with TeamMD members. It really made me feel more comfortable and relaxed coming in for the next procedure. If I need to have any more surgeries done in the future, I know where to go. I highly recommend this surgery center for anybody in the area that needs to have a procedure done.
