We were told pre op would be an hour and a half not over 2 hours. No communication while waiting. Would not recommend here and for future GI related issues we would go elsewhere where it won’t take 4-5 hours

Honestly, don’t come here. It’s actually impressive how terrible this medical office is. First of all, the lady at the front desk who does patient check-ins must have a masters degree in being crass, rude, and demonstrating a complete lack of professionalism. Politely asking her a basic question about resulted in her shouting over me mid-sentence. Second of all, the facilities are second-rate at best. The waiting room is overcrowded with patients, and there is nowhere for family members accompanying them to wait - which basically means waiting outside the building for several hours. Oh, and they won’t tell you when your loved one is ready for pickup - so if your family member requires assistance, you’ll need to continuously call them for updates, and wait on hold every single time. There are so many places to go for medical care, I learned the hard way that this place is absolutely one to be avoided.

Horrible experience. The staff wasn't trained to take out needle from my vein. She asked me to bend my arm when the needle was inside my vein. Then she took the needle out when my arm was bent. This damaged my vein. It is now much thicker than the vein in my other arm. I also feel little a bit pain on the arm location where she damaged my vein. I regret I went there.

The receptionist was very rude when she found out that I was calling a UBER to get me home instead of having an escort to drive me home. I kindly asked her provide the exact address of this place so I can let my escort knows where to pick me up. She kept on repeating 1200 North Side, 1200 North Side. I was thing to myself, 1200 North Side is not an exactly address. She refuse to provide me with a card or write down the exact address so I can let my escort know this information. She mentioned that I was aggressive. Actually she was the aggressive one since she called the nurse, the assistant nurse, the GI surgeon out to loudly announce this case. The minute before she left her shift on 8/20/2021 at 2:30pm, she loudly announced to the person who needs to take over the shift to be aware of me. I actually started crying in the waiting room due to her behaviors. I sincerely think the situation could have been handed in a gentler manner without causing fear and anxiety
