Everyone was top-notch from the time I entered the building, the receptionist , preop staff, OR staff, the anesthesiologist, my surgeon, postop staff, all amazing. It’s not often you can say that about any facility and definitely not in healthcare anymore. Well run. Kind. Compassionate but efficient… As a health care professional for over 30 years I was nervous having surgery away from “home”. It was just like being taken care of by the people I have worked with for years. Well done and much appreciated! Thank you All! Check in went well, first part of assessment went well, then all hell breaks loose. I laid in the bed for over 1 and one half hours with NOT one person to check on me. The doctor was running behind schedule and not one person had the common courtesy to communicate. Communication is the key. If I didn’t appreciate Sr Coleman, I would have pulled my OV out and left. Found out I should have had Tylenol prior to even going into the OR, that never happened. Found it interesting the Clinical Coordinator Joline became my nurse and not one time did ever apologize for the lack of anything. I am actually reporting this practice to Professional Misconduct- patient neglect. And know I would e recommend this place to anyone

Trying to schedule surgery is like pulling teeth. Both myself and the doctor/surgeon had left messages for the scheduler over an 2 1/2 week span and it was not until I left a message with the manager did I get a surgery date that had been discussed weeks prior. It should have been a red flag on the spot when I got the call desk and they said “yeah IF she’s even at her desk otherwise you’ll just have to leave a message and wait.” The day before surgery I was told I’d get a call so I asked if I didn’t hear anything by 3pm should I call…no no you’ll hear way before that… 315pm I leave a message returned by someone filling in for previously mentioned scheduler at 340pm to be told my surgery is at 615am. When I arrived all of the staff was extremely nice, caring, friendly and helpful except for one OR nurse. She was rude and didn’t wait for me to transfer completely over to the table onto a squished up bean bag and when I was trying to adjust I was like this is extremely uncomfortable and digging into my rib cage(that still hurts) Her response “well yeah you’re on a rolled up bean bag obviously it’s gonna be uncomfortable” to which when I went to move she told them to put me to sleep and that was it before I woke up in recovery. Not the last memory I want to have of going under for a surgery. Do better. Have some bedside manner.

Sat in the waiting room almost 3 hours. While we waited, a lunch delivery came for employees. We didn't order lunch due to having at 10:15am appointment. Had we known, we would have eaten lunch at home and arrived promptly 3 hours late. No apology was given for the inconvenience. No apology was made to my next appointment for which I was late due to being held up at this appointment.
