In December 2025 I had cataract surgery at the Griffith Eye Surgery center in Rome. I would like to thank everyone that works there especially the front desk ladies, Dr. Grant and her staff. It was my first surgery and everyone was helpful and nice.
Called and asked to move the appt up and arrive at least an hour early (no issue). Got there an hour early, waited over two hours before being taken back. Routine procedure, spent a total of 4 hours at the facility. I’d show up 10 minutes before scheduled time, not an hour.
I had surgery on my left eye in October. My experience was 100 out of 100. I was treated with compassion and professionalism. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I waited less than 15min. in the waiting room. I would recommend this facility to family n friends anyyime
the staff was professional, they made my visit super comfortable 10/10.
My appointment time got delayed a couple hours due to something with the instruments. Ok. It was fine since they called a couple days prior to change it. But then the morning of they asked if I could then come in early (my original time), I informed I could be there as early as possible. I was very much early, but then they still had me waiting until about my normal arrival time. The staff (other then 1 nurse) was incredible short and huffy with me and my ride the whole time, I was given the anesthesia before I was told I was given it, and then upon waking from the procedure, I wasn't even mad to use the restroom before leaving. I was simply asked if I was OK enough to leave and pretty much booted out. I was told such good things about this place but was thoroughly disappointed and disgusted. Would not recommend.
