Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Procedure list is based on CMS-reported specialty designations. Contact the facility to confirm specific procedures offered.

Dr. Morrison is an amazing doctor with the best bedside manner. She is compassionate, caring, and truly takes her time with patients. She listens, remembers her patients and their history, and is incredibly patient and personable. She never makes you feel rushed and always makes you feel comfortable and heard.

Dr. Bianchi was my first ever Orthopedic doctor and if you got to pick your first one, you would choose him. The entire experience at Total Ortho was seamless. Honestly. The phone tree system leaves some things to be desired, but if you just show up and explain the sitch ... They wave the wand and resolved. Highly recommend and Dr. John... What a joy. I could barely walk. 15 minutes Dr. Time, evaluation, diagnosis, options for resolution, recommendation for resolution, resolved. Out the door in time for breakfast. Five stars does not do that Doctor and the staff credit. Outstanding.

Dr. McCormack is a very compassionate doctor. He has an excellent bed side manner. He takes time to explain your issues and makes you understand what's going on and what the next steps could be. I highly recommend him.

This was the best prep for surgery appointment I've ever had out so many experiences. I actually left with a huge smile and confident in all the preparations and treatment from Maria and Dr. Ruotolo 's team for now, during and after surgery! Thanks again, Argeta

I'm being fair with my rating here because I think the doctors are excellent, but the communication from the staff is severely lacking. Three times I've come into get MRI results, three times I've had to reschedule because the wait was much longer than indicated, without any communication on a delay in advance. Again I'm trying to be understanding here hence my score, many patients and very few doctors and all that. Totally valid, no fault on their part. It's the communication that needs to be improved though, I shouldn't have to drive out to the location just to find out that my appointment is delayed by hours, it's just unacceptable.
