Have been with NCO for 50 years had great luck with them. Had shoulder surgery last November Dr Hettric did justice can't complain love her work but I've had NCO cancel three appointments at the last minute twice when i was on my way there for evaluation in the last two months. Kyle Grant called last time left me a call back number have called him twice left him a message Never has called back. I will start looking for care elsware. North Star has killed the service you used to get.
My husband has been there THREE TIMES in THREE DAYS!! They are not good at listening to their patients without dismissing them like they don’t matter. We called at 7AM to the on call doctor. We were told to come in exactly at 8AM & we would be seen. We get here at 8AM, get brought back to the room for wrapping the cast, they take it off & tell us Dr. Schultz would be in around 8:30AM. Well, here we are at 9:10AM, still no doctor, no new cast. I can’t even get ahold of the clinic manager Kyle Grant on the phone. This is a joke of a “medical practice” & they should really reconsider their staff. Wish there was another office who would take workers compensation so we didn’t have to deal with incompetent doctors and nurses.
For 5 months prior to getting a referral to the North Country Orthopedic Group I was living daily with excruciating pain. My neurologist highly recommended Dr. Baird and I was given a referral to see him for my L4/L5 herniated discs that were causing severe sciatic pain. From the moment I walked into the office everyone I encountered from the receptionists, the nurses, to the radiologist that did my MRI were the kindest and most empathetic staff. Then I had the honor of meeting Dr. Baird who was to be my surgeon. Hands down Dr. Baird is down to earth, compassionate and the best at what he does. He assured me that after my discectomy that I was going to feel like a new person and that my pain would be gone and he delivered on that. The discectomy procedure done my Dr. Baird has literally given me my hope and life back. đź’Ż highly recommend this Orthopedic group.
I always gets professional care here and feel I am being herd and full informed as a patient. Hard to get into it is a busy place. Call sooner than later to get an appointment. They are backed up and change appointments frequently.
As a parent and healthcare professional, I strongly advise against this clinic for pediatric injuries. My child has suffered a back injury since before summer, missing school and sports activities. We’ve had only one in-person appointment; every subsequent one, including today’s, was rescheduled without any notification—no calls or voicemails reached us (phone records confirm this). Scheduler “Jade” argued dismissively and transferred me to a manager’s voicemail. They push telehealth, which can’t assess healing, and threaten mandatory physical therapy for clearance despite just two visits and no imaging in over two months. This incompetence wastes time, money, gas, and hope—avoid at all costs for your child’s sake.
