Worse service provider I have ever dealt with. Company refused to correct insurance claim and out right refused to make any attempt to correct their billing error. The biling department got very rude and condescending even with insurance on the line. Very unprofessional. I would look elsewhere for care.
I brought a friend here for a colonoscopy. Everything was fine until they took me back to see her. She was coughing continuously and obviously not feeling well. She said her throat felt like glass was in it. The doctor seemed a little concerned and said she was coughing during the procedure. My friend asked for a cough drop I gave her one. She then decided she just wanted to get out of there. I took her home but she was feeling more and more uncomfortable. Having a hard time breathing so she went to the ER. It took a long time for them to figure it out but this all happened from her being allergic to something during the procedure. I know this allergic reaction was s rare but to just be brushed off as nothing was uncalled for and I just couldn’t believe it. I don’t think I could ever trust a place like that. My heart went out to her.
We arrived more than 45 minutes early for my mother’s appointment, as requested. Unfortunately, check-in began on a stressful note. A petite Indian staff member spoke harshly to my mother, telling her to hurry up because the doctor was waiting and she was the last patient of the day. This was unnecessary and unkind, especially given that we were well ahead of schedule. Later, when my mother tried to briefly open the door she had just walked through when I was trying to get her to hand me her phone (since phones aren't allowed in the back), the same staff member sharply told her, "Only employees are allowed to open the doors!"—again, something that could have been said in a much more respectful tone. That said, not all interactions were negative. Jim, who signed her in, was extremely cheerful and welcoming, which helped put us at ease. The nurse who cared for my mother was absolutely wonderful—kind, attentive, and very professional. Other staff members we encountered were also friendly and helpful. The doctor himself was excellent. Although he initially spoke with my mother while she was still drowsy/has memory issues—despite our repeated request for me to be present for that conversation—he did come out afterward to speak with me directly when I expressed concern. He patiently answered all of our questions, showed great bedside manner, and made sure we felt heard and informed. I truly appreciated the time he took with us. The procedure and recovery were handled efficiently, and we were actually finished earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. We did notice a few things that could be improved: we were surprised that my mother had to go over the same forms four different times with different staff members, and conversations behind the closed doors were clearly audible from the waiting room, including private medical information, which raises privacy concerns. Again, we do not understand why the doctors talk to patients who may be groggy and not able to internalize/remember the important information discussed, even if their chaperone is waiting in the waiting room. Overall, while there were a few issues that added unnecessary stress at the start, the kindness of the medical staff, the professionalism of the doctor, and the efficiency of the process helped balance things out.
Yesterday I had my first endoscopy and colonoscopy with Dr. Elizabeth Gregory and all I can say is "Wow!" I was super nervous about having both procedures done because I had never been "put under" before but everyone was amazing. From the nice front desk lady(can't remember her name)who greeted me, to Bill, Kelly, Brooke, John, Megan and of course, Dr. Gregory, I couldnt have asked for a better experience! Everyone was so kind and caring and truly put my mind at ease. Dr. Gregory is so easy to talk to and always asks if i have any questions. Before I knew it, I was in recovery and went home shortly after that. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for taking such good care of me!
I was very happy with my treatment. The staff was professional and courteous. But the secretary accidentally heard me go on a rant about not being seen for a recent acute episode and they dismissed me as a patient. I thought she had hung up. I did apologize directly. FYI Hang up before you start complaining. They won't tolerate it.
