The customer service representatives were friendly and efficient, ensuring everything was in order for my surgery. Dr. Fritz, my surgeon, was outstanding! He took the time to explain the procedure for my right eye surgery and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. The anesthesiologist was equally reassuring, making sure I felt comfortable and relaxed. A special shoutout to the prep nurses—they were compassionate, attentive, and truly made a difference in my experience. My grandmother had two cataract surgeries done at the WCSC. The staff was very friendly and professional. The nurse anesthesiologist went out of her way to learn words in my native tongue to communicate with my grandmother (she does not speak English), and it was very heartwarming. Thank you, Molly! My experience at Western Carolina Surgery Center was very positive. The entire staff, from the front desk to the nursing team, was professional, friendly, and caring. A particular highlight was how both my doctor and the anesthesiologist came to see me beforehand to explain everything in detail.
