ColonoscopyA flexible camera examines the full length of the colon to screen for cancer and remove polyps before they become cancerous. Done under sedation, it typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. The bowel prep the day before is the part most patients find hardest.Upper Endoscopy (EGD)A thin camera passed through the mouth examines the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine. Used to investigate persistent heartburn, difficulty swallowing, unexplained bleeding, or abdominal pain. Usually takes 15 to 30 minutes under sedation.Flexible SigmoidoscopyExamines the lower portion of the colon only, rather than its full length. There is no sedation and no recovery. Unlike a routine endoscopy, it carries a meaningful risk of pancreatitis afterward, so it is used when treatment is likely rather than for screening alone.Hemorrhoid TreatmentShrinks or removes swollen veins in the rectum and anus using rubber band ligation, injection, or surgical removal depending on severity. Banding is quick and typically requires no anesthesia; surgical removal is more effective for advanced cases but recovery is noticeably more uncomfortable.

Nobody wants to get a colonoscopy. But if you do this is the place to go. From the time you walk into the door everyone in the facility makes you feel at ease and welcomed. The staff is so friendly and caring.

Everyone from the moment I walked in were very caring about me coming in and making sure I was cared for and comfortable. This was my first Colonoscopy and even though it was just routine, I was still a little nervous. Mainly my concern was being put under but the whole staff made it a calm and even funny experience for me. Here were my staff that day and I want to say thank you because I know I’m just one of many “behinds” you saw June 14th 2024 but you all made me feel like you cared about me and I wasn’t just a number. Very small waiting room with a loud woman on her cell phone that the staff are ignoring instead of telling her to shut up and respect other patients. The check in woman did not sanitize anything between patients checking in so don't be surprised you walk out with COVID due to their unsanitary/lazy practice
