I want to acknowledge Emerge Ortho for exceeding my expectations on my left knee replacement surgery on 11/3/25. In 2017, I had my right knee replaced and it was a very good experience with Othro One in Ohio and I haven’t had an issue. As a matter of fact it’s sill like new and greatly improved my quality of life. Being at the beach, one would worry about getting a skilled reputable surgeon. I can honestly say we are so fortunate to have Emerge Ortho in our community. In particular, Dr. Lescault and his staff provided the surgery with state of the art equipment (Mako Smart Robotics). The extended spinal block resulted in 3 days of minimal pain so medications and PT more effective. I didn’t have the extended spinal block on my first surgery and it made my post surgery so much more comfortable. The Pre and Post Op was comprehensive and knowledgeable. Dr. Lescault’s staff was responsible and available for any question. If your considering knee replacement surgery I highly recommend Emerge Ortho a state wide orthopedic group practice in NC.

My experience with surgery at the center was perfect. Everyone was very personable and considerate trying to make me feel at ease. Everything was explained to me in detail in layman's terms so I was aware of what was expected. They have a wonderful staff of medical assistants and of course Dr. Bahner was excellent.
