Today I had my second surgery since July 2025. I simply cannot overstate how pleased I was with my visit today. Everyone from registration, the nurses and doctors were so friendly and supportive of me and my wife. They took exceptional care of me from start to finish and ensured my experience was over the top. I could not have been more pleased with how everything went today!! Thank you all very much for taking care of me.

Amazing cataract surgery outcome I'm very grateful for ths skills and care I received at Blue Ridge Surgery Center. I'm truly impressed by the outcome. Dr. P. Gupta operated on my right eye cataract yesterday. Before surgery, my right eye had significant ghosting in my distance vision while driving, watching tv, and even walking. Objects and text appeared doubled or shadowed, though the image would become clearer if I tilted my head way back--probably caused by my old worn out lens distortion. As of this morning after surgery, the change is remarkable. Distance vision in my right eye is exceptionally clear, with no ghosting. Images and color are so much brighter, sharper, and tv skin tones are noticeably more defined. It is like taking off bown tint sunglasses. The improvement in in just one day is dramatic. Special thanks you to the entire Blue Ridge Surgery team including preop nurse Morgan, and my anesthesiologist.

I had surgery for the first time last year. The specialist I was seeing uses this facility & staff for their practice. So I can only comment on the staff and people I interacted with, as the billing was handled a little differently I think. All the nurses and doctors I interacted with were wonderful! I was really nervous as I'd never been under anesthesia or had a surgery that required it before. They were all very patient and kind with all my and my spouses questions. I did have a nurse that had a bit of trouble with my IV, but I appreciate her quickly acknowledging it just wasn't going well and getting a different nurse to do it (I've been tortured before by some unwilling to give up... Usually a commendable attribute, but with the constant needle pricking I appreciate someone that can admit quickly it isn't happening and get help so I'm not all sore & bruised up after šŸ˜…). The nurses that took me back for surgery were so nice and funny 😁 They really eased my anxiety as they wheeled me in and prepped me for surgery. I woke up to one laughing and chatting with my spouse telling him all the details about how things went. Apparently I was a hoot! Who knows, the Anesthesiologist did a great job as I remember nothing other than saying hi to folks in the surgery room as I got prepped. Woke up well rested and loopy, and in a great mood šŸ˜‚ Sent us home with all my meds and instructions. Healed well, and no issues a year later šŸ’– Thank you so so much to the staff that made my first surgery so comfortable and not scary at all!!

I'm only giving it one star because I can't leave a zero. I will never come here again. In the last 24 hours they have changed my roommates appointment for surgery nine times. Every change requires someone to arrange with their employer for time off in order to take her and stay with her through the surgery. They could not care less about the disruption to people's lives they're causing by rescheduling for their own convenience. This is not the first time. Her last surgery they lost the doctor for almost an hour, and they are walking around turning out lights and closing up to go home early for the day before she was even out of recovery. All they care about is finishing early so they can go home and they have zero concern for their patients whatsoever. Never again.

Convenient location, ambulatory surgeries only. Good customer service. Lobby has been redecorated and looks nice. Medical and Nursing staff are really good, knowledgeable, and helpful. Parking is not that big so it can be difficult to find a spot. The Lobby area has chairs and tables making it easy for you if you need to work remotely while waiting. Also have vending machines and complementary coffee.
