I am very pleased with the exceptional care I receive from Dr John Miller OD, he is excellent and I would highly recommend him without hesitation. However, dealing with the administrative side of Carolina Eye is challenging. For example, when calling to make an appointment I was on hold for 20 minutes before giving up and trying again. The wait times are also often longer than reasonable, so bring a good book.

Everyone I worked with was very good at their position. My only complaint is probably similar to others. Suggest getting an early appointment if possible. I had a 9:45 appointment and was almost late for a noon appointment. Hoping running that far behind is not the norm. Good grades for everyone that worked with me though

Very pleasant beside manner with all staff. Made me feel relaxed and at ease with my procedure. Dr. Fakadej is very experienced and precise with her technique, explained everything very well before, during and after my procedure. Highly recommend Carolina Eye associates. Wish the public could understand that medical clinics are not like a drive thru at McDonald's. One can not come in and expect to not have some waiting time. Anything that should be considered emergent should be at the ER or an urgent care facility. There are also more than one provider (with their own scheduled patients) waiting to be seen. If you have sat and feel like you have been overlooked because of the time; keep in mind that "you" are not the only one there to be seen and as soon as "your" appointed provider and staff are completed with the work up for the "patient scheduled appointment before you"; they will call you back to be seen. Those that have never worked in healthcare do not understand how it works. Please be patient and kind to the staff and providers because they are doing great work!

May be a good option if you have major eye issues, but for routine eye care this is not the place to go unless you have lots of time to kill. You will spend hours moving from waiting room to waiting room for evaluations, then seeing an doctor, then checking out. The office is always packed with people. I sent a message on the portal to cancel an appointment that was never responded to - then waited 15 minutes on hold just to cancel an appointment.

This morning I had a cataract evaluation appointment! Though it took several hours it was thorough and everything worked like clockwork. The examination requires visiting several different areas and interacting with many professionals for various procedures. Dr. French is very personable and professional in his exam. I was also impressed with Tiana who performed I believe 6 different tests on my eyes with different pieces of equipment. She was friendly and very professional and also explained each procedure along the way! I would highly recommend Carolina Eye Associates. My husband had several eye procedures here also over the past few years and experienced the same professional service and care from everyone he encountered!
