My husband’s experience with getting a routine colonoscopy was awful. He aspirated during the procedure and no one told me when they took me back to recovery to see him. When we got home he had a terrible, hacking cough, became chilled, & developed a fever. When I called in & spoke to the nurse all I was told was to monitor him & go to the ER if he developed a high fever or had difficulty breathing. The nurse even commented on how badly his cough sounded over the phone. They also told him that he should’ve gone to the hospital for the procedure due to his sleep apnea & this was never discussed with us prior to the procedure. The following week he went to the ENT who sent him for a chest x-ray due to the concerns. He could have developed aspiration pneumonia. I’m very dissatisfied that nothing was communicated to me and he was telling me everything after being under sedation. I would definitely not recommend this practice. I have worked in healthcare for over 16 years and the whole process was unprofessional.
I felt everyone that interacted with me, were pleasant and caring. I think the IV is the worst part of the procedure but Jessica was great. Thank you for your service and great care. Especially Dr. Salvino.
Everyone on staff is fantastic. Very friendly and made the overall experience as easy as possible. I cant praise them enough. Dr Congeni was very easy to talk to and helpful and caring of my issues. Thank you to the entire staff!
I had an Endoscopy yesterday. I was checked in quickly. I was received in a very friendly manner by Mary. Everyone was friendly and made me feel at ease. Dr. Congeni is a very friendly man and I felt confident that he would be efficient. Records were printed for me. Everyone is also very professional.
I had a follow-up appt scheduled after a hospital visit. The appt was scheduled like a month and half out which I expected. The appt was scheduled for 8:30 but they advised to arrive 20 minutes early so I did. They were kind enough to mail me the new patient paperwork to be filled out before the visit. They called me back like right at 8:30 which is nice. The nurse got my weight , took me back to a room and asked me all the standard questions. After the questions she left and said the doctor would be right in. I maybe waited like 15 minutes tops which is awesome. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor were very kind. I saw doctor Khullar and was familiar with him because I saw him during my hospital stint. He did a great job explaining everything, checked my belly and I was on my way. The visit didn’t take long but it was just a follow up to make sure I was okay. The office decor seems out of date but I mean if it works. I’ve included some pictures so you can see what I mean. Besides that the place seems okay!
