Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Breast Augmentation / ReductionBreast size is increased by placing implants, or decreased by removing breast tissue and skin and repositioning the remaining tissue. Reduction is often performed to relieve back, neck, and shoulder pain caused by breast weight.RhinoplastySurgery that reshapes the nose by altering the bone and cartilage beneath the skin. It is performed to change appearance, to correct breathing problems caused by internal structure, or both. Swelling takes months to fully resolve.FaceliftLiposuctionFat is suctioned out from beneath the skin through small tubes called cannulas, reshaping a specific area such as the abdomen, flanks, or thighs. It targets localized deposits and is a contouring procedure rather than a method of weight loss.Wound ReconstructionRebuilds skin and underlying tissue where a wound is too large or too damaged to close directly. Surgeons move nearby tissue, or transfer skin and muscle from elsewhere on the body, to cover the defect. Often follows trauma, infection, or cancer removal.Skin GraftingHealthy skin is taken from one area of the body and transplanted to cover a wound or burn elsewhere. Both the graft site and the donor site need care, and the donor site is often the more uncomfortable of the two.

Dr. Jason Hedrick and the staff are very kind. They were thorough in explaining what my options were for breast reconstruction due to dbl masectomy (breast ca). The front office is always welcoming too. I am thankful for the work they have done on me and I'm sure I will be pleased with the end results.

Dr. Fox was amazing. I had a breast reduction and he clearly communicated what to expect. I am over the moon with the results. The nurses are excellent. My nurse for my surgery named Jess was so helpful, caring and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Fox.

Plastic Surgery Institute of Dayton is awesome!!! I’d been contemplating a breast lift (mastopexy) for over 8 years now. I was very nervous about it, but after meeting with PSID’s team and Dr. Fox, my fears were calmed. Dr. Fox answered all my questions & addressed all concerns before I even asked them! He is an artist! He is very meticulous & detail oriented. He truly knows his craft. I recommend him 100x over. I’m a little over 7 weeks post op and am so happy with the results! I’m so happy with them that I’m planning another procedure with them to take care of aging eyelids :)

I have had the privilege to have Dr Jason hedrick be my plastic surgeon for the last 5 years. Having a 50-cent size piece taken out of my skull because of cancer he worked his magic to pull my head together and has pulled my head together a few times after that! He always tells me best case scenario and worst case scenario so I have some idea what to expect. I appreciate his professionalism and also his sense of humor! He knows when to be serious and knows when he can joke with me and I appreciate that but probably the most thing that I appreciate is the fact that when I arrive in the operating room and ask someone to pray for me or pray with me he is the first one which tells me this is not a job for him, it's a ministry! God bless you Dr Hedrick!

Treated like cattle and scammed. Prior to getting an appointment I asked if they took insurance and they were very short to say they don't accept any type of insurance for tummy tucks, which I understand is common but didn't make sense to me why many other procedures are covered but tummy tucks even if for medical reasons. Regardless, they gave me a rough estimate of around $8k so I booked a consultation as the consultation fee was cheaper here than others in the area ($75). First off, the surgeon made some comment how many people would pay good money to have the health condition I have that caused me to starve and have a very significant weight loss. I thought that was a rude remark as my health condition has caused me a lot of grief and trauma in my life and to tell me to my face people would pay to have that happen to them was inconsiderate. Then they quickly handed me my quotes and shoved me out the door without any further discussion. The quote sheet made it very confusing so I had to call back at a later date to ask questions. They had quoted me $14k for a tummy tuck! I called back and asked why the quote estimate went from 8k to 14k and they said oh well the difference is the cost of the surgery center (the surgeon told me they were cheaper than other surgeons because they use their own building and don't have to pay for surgery centers) and the cost of anesthesia. I said that's ridiculous because you can't say the procedure costs 8k when clearly I need to be knocked out and the surgery has to take place somewhere so the "total cost" is 14k not 8k.. They continually argued that 8k is the "total cost" of the procedure. So what they tell you is not what you pay, these people are very deceitful when it comes to pricing. I can happily say I chose another surgeon for my tummy tuck where I received the best patient care I ever have, they cared about me as a patient, they didn't rush me, they were transparent with their prices, and they were even cheaper than this facility. Would avoid PSID at all costs.
