Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

ACL / MCL ReconstructionRebuilds torn knee ligaments using a graft. ACL tears generally require reconstruction to restore stability, while MCL injuries more often heal without surgery. Full return to sport takes months of rehabilitation, not weeks.Meniscus RepairTreats a tear in the cartilage that cushions the knee, either by stitching the tear or trimming the damaged portion. Repairing preserves more cushioning but requires a longer, more protected recovery than trimming does.Shoulder StabilizationTightens or reattaches stretched and torn tissue after repeated shoulder dislocations. Each dislocation causes further damage, so surgery is often recommended for younger, active patients rather than waiting for the pattern to continue.Tendon RepairReconnects a torn tendon so muscle can move bone again. Because tendons heal slowly and under tension, recovery involves a protected period of immobilization followed by gradual loading โ€” rushing this stage risks re-rupture.PRP InjectionsA sample of your own blood is concentrated into platelet-rich plasma and injected into an injured tendon or joint to support healing. It is typically a same-day office or outpatient procedure. Evidence varies by condition, and insurance frequently does not cover it.Arthroscopic DebridementLoose cartilage, inflamed tissue, and debris are cleaned out of a joint through small incisions. It can relieve mechanical symptoms like catching or locking, though it is not a treatment for widespread arthritis on its own.
ColonoscopyA flexible camera examines the full length of the colon to screen for cancer and remove polyps before they become cancerous. Done under sedation, it typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. The bowel prep the day before is the part most patients find hardest.Upper Endoscopy (EGD)A thin camera passed through the mouth examines the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine. Used to investigate persistent heartburn, difficulty swallowing, unexplained bleeding, or abdominal pain. Usually takes 15 to 30 minutes under sedation.Flexible SigmoidoscopyExamines the lower portion of the colon only, rather than its full length. Preparation is lighter than a full colonoscopy and sedation is sometimes unnecessary, but it cannot detect problems higher in the colon.Capsule EndoscopyYou swallow a vitamin-sized camera that photographs the small intestine as it passes through โ€” a region that standard scopes cannot easily reach. There is no sedation and no recovery. The capsule passes naturally, and images are reviewed after the fact.ERCPCombines endoscopy and X-ray imaging to diagnose and treat blockages in the bile and pancreatic ducts, most often gallstones stuck in a duct. Unlike a routine endoscopy, it carries a meaningful risk of pancreatitis afterward, so it is used when treatment is likely rather than for screening alone.Hemorrhoid TreatmentShrinks or removes swollen veins in the rectum and anus using rubber band ligation, injection, or surgical removal depending on severity. Banding is quick and typically requires no anesthesia; surgical removal is more effective for advanced cases but recovery is noticeably more uncomfortable.

They lied about being in network with my insurance, which i verified 3 times with them over the phone and in person. After my consultation I was scheduled to get a colonoscopy and endoscopy roughly 2 weeks later. It wasn't until 2 days after the colonoscopy they called me to let me know my endoscopy was canceled due to them not accepting my insurance. I have then since been sent a bill for $3840 that I cant afford thanks to them lying to me. Also they keep making appointments for me without my approval or consent. There is no way that is legal to do. Update: They also will not allow you to get your own health records through them. Which is a violation of HIPAA rights. Additionally stating that in person is the only way is also a violation of HIPAA and considered and "unreasonable barrier" under HIPAA law.
