Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

Recently had carpal tunnel surgery here. Wonderful facility and great staff! Everyone was super nice and professional! Received phone calls leading up to my surgery to go over cost and surgery information/time. Anesthesia doctor was great as well! I would highly recommend this facility! I will definitely be back for my other hand in a few months!

I recently had bilateral Carpel Tunnel release that was performed at this facility. I would like to recommend this to be your choice of surgical suites if you have an upcoming surgery. The facility was very clean, I was greeted by knowledgeable friendly staff. Once taken back to my room I was cared for by excellent nursing staff. Thank you for taken such good care of me.

Staff was extremely friendly and professional. The Center was clean and well equipped and staff were very efficient. My procedure was so quick and I am a lightweight with medication so I never saw my doctor but my son was with me and he spoke with the staff and my surgeon on my behalf. I would recommend Northpointe Surgical Suites to anyone.

I can't express how pleased we were being a patient at Northpointe Surgical. The Dr's and staff always kept my wife and I in the loop on what to expect and you could tell all of them truly cared. Dr. Brautigan and Victor our Anesthesiologist spent ample time with us explaining the knee surgery procedure and answering questions. The outcome was excellent, life is good again. We owe these people many thanks.
