Highly recommend Norman Endoscopy Center. I recently had a colonoscopy there and they made the process and procedure as comfortable as possible. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, the nurses were also friendly and informative, Dr. Holbrook listened to my concerns and answered my questions, the anesthesia nurse and staff and recovery staff were also very kind, patient, and caring. Dr. Kilpatrick and his staff were great. Very friendly and took time to answer our questions regarding my daughter. Only bad part was time to see him, but I guess that's par with specialists.

If I could give 0 stars I would…I was a patient of Dr Lackey about 10 years ago and they still refused to see me because I have been seen by another GI. I am a provider and understand what can happen to patients who have GI bleeds and I couldn’t get my current GI to return my calls so I decided to see someone else at Norman GI since Lackey isn’t practicing any longer. They refused to see me!! I’m shocked that the GI world treats patients like this. I will not be referring anymore patients to them that’s for sure…It’s very sad that patients are being treated like this…EVERYONE has the right to a second opinion!!!

When I first learned I needed to have this "scope" done, I was really worried. I was extremely anxious about the procedure and being sedated. After visiting with the staff, I felt MUCH better and knew I had nothing to worry about. Dr. Holbrook is very nice, all the staff are very kind and personable. If I had a question, it was answered appropriately and kindly. If you need this done, please do not have any anxiety, just follow the instructions and ask the staff any questions you may have. The information you need is presented so well and all the staff that I talked to on the phone and in person were so kind and helpful. It's not hard, it doesn't hurt and you won't feel like crap for a few days after, due to the type of sedation they use. You will literally be fine in a couple hours with no side effects. I would highly recommend Norman Endoscopy Center if you need to get a scope done.
