If you drive too fast, you’ll miss the turn to the entrance. This is what happened to me. Then you’ll have to circle the highway. There is DDS signage posted on the street but you may pass it before you actually see the sign! My experience at DDS was phenomenal. All of the staff are friendly and welcoming. The lobby furniture has cushions so it is comfortable post-op. The exam rooms are nice and stocked with hand soap. The restrooms are very clean and are equipped with UV hand dryers! Most importantly, the providers actively listen. They are professional and polite while offering tons of insight to your individualized medical concern!
She was highly professional, kind, and explained things that were easy for me to understand. I really liked the fact that she wrote down the things that I needed to do and her suggestions and gave them to me at the visit which I found to be highly helpful. I felt comfortable with her opinions and advice.
I always receive excellent care from DDS and especially Scottie Smith. Excellent communication, very caring and so personable. Her staff is excellent also. Mary is such a nice gal and never rushes me with my concerns or deciding on scheduling times. I’ll never go anywhere else! Thanks for the excellent care!
I do not recommend this place. I had simple requests that were made when I spoke to the nurse practitioner when making my appointment. 1.) I did not want any anesthetic. 2) I needed my medical device (which is on my phone) with me. I was told to just let them know. Once there they asked me to sign a form for anesthesia. I refused and told them why. They freaked out because my medical devices transmit to my phone. They told me I could not take my phone in because they were afraid I would record them. I showed them my medical device information on my phone and explained why it was necessary. When they refused I was going to leave and then they allowed the device to be kept with me. My phone alerts me when my bg goes too high or too low. The doctor did not inspire confidence when he stated he had done the procedure on patients with blood glucose as high as 400 mg/dL. No procedure, short of an emergency procedure, should be done on a patient with a blood glucose that high. The emergency would be to send that patient to the hospital immediately to address that issue. He listed me as argumentative. When in reality they were simply afraid of being recorded, as they stated multiple times. I told them my password on my phone and offered to allow them to examine my phone too. I was told by the nurse after the procedure she didn't need to examine my phone because they were watching me. I also don't understand why anesthetic is necessary. They did have a problem getting around a corner in my intestines but a simple repositioning of me allowed it with ease. Not very painful at all. Dr. Walia was my care provider.
My virtual appointment with Kieuhan Pham went really well. This was one of few virtual medical appointments I have ever had. She was very concise, which allowed the appointment to move along well. She was also very thorough and familiar with my history prior to my session. She was a great listener and scheduled appointments for follow up with a colonoscopy given my family history of colon cancer as well as colon polyps were not routine timelines. Thank you for all
