Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

More than plastic surgery. You heard me. There is a side to this practice that focuses on finding root cause issues among other things with Dr.Jennifer Martin. Her and her nurse Keri Jo took the time to listen and run the proper test. I have been in this journey 10 years to figure what was wrong and they did it! If you have been struggling finding answers pick up the phone and give them a call. I am so thankful I tried one more time and for people who will sit with you to find the root cause. They do all the other things as well: plastics, hormone replacement, weight loss and more.

My initial encounter with Dr Ratliff and his staff has been very positive. He listens to what you are wanting and is honest about whether you need it. He explains very well how surgery will be done and what to expect the turnout to be. That kind of proves to me that he’s not about the money. I have scheduled my surgery with him because I feel like he is absolutely the right choice for me! Every one of the staff members have been nothing but kind and compassionate when dealing with them. I’m very happy with my choice.

Had a great consultation. Dr Ratliff is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and I am very excited for my procedure. Office was great, people were great. Had my procedure completed and I am truly amazed by the results! My healing process has been tremendous. 7 weeks in and I am moving all back to normal, zero complications. I would do it again in a heartbeat. My breasts are amazing and my tummy is flat even though there is still slight swelling. Haven't had pain either.
