Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

My nurses were absolutely amazing through the whole process. Wanda RN was awesome, was so kind and gently walked me through everything. Julie CRNA was very nice and made me feel very comfortable about anesthesia. Bryan RN was also very nice! I wish I remembered my post OP nurses name, but she was awesome as well. She even brought me my chapstick when I was groggy and complaining about my dry lips haha. Overall, great staff and the best possible experience for my visit!

I had surgery there for an ankle fracture. As a RN myself, I know healthcare is a business and staff are often pushed to their limits. This staff was amazing! Every single one of them - from phone calls prior to surgery, until I was in my car going home post-operatively. I never felt hurried, they listened to all my concerns and they were truly compassionate.

My 5 year old had tubes put in here today. The staff were so unbelievably wonderful. This was his 3rd surgery in a years time and so he was pretty anxious about getting tubes. They made us all feel more than comfortable. We were in and out and it couldn't have gone more smoothly.

Great Experience!! I had otoplasty done with Dr. Louton and it was 100% perfect. Every single person I met - the receptionist, RNs' and the anesthesiologist were all so amazing and welcoming. I'll never forget my nurse, Vickie. From bringing me back, setting my IV up, giving me warm blankets and just over-all caring and great at keeping me distracted. I would do it all over again! Everything went fast and I was in-and-out with all my questions answered. I would recommend this place to anyone!!

I had surgery here this week, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I am kind of very queasy when it comes to needles and such, and they were very nice about it and covered up the IV with a blanket for me. They were very good about making conversation to distract me as well. After the procedure, the nurse was very kind to me and extremely helpful. I wish I could remember their names to thank them personally, but I do not unfortunately. I do not usually write reviews, but I feel they did an exceptional job helping me and deserve to be credited. Overall, they made an unpleasant situation for me not so bad (:
