I had my first of 2 cataract surgeries today. The staff was wonderful! They were professional, friendly, and supportive. A huge shout out to Trish at the front desk and nurses Jenna, Lisa and Theresa, along with all the others involved in my care! I highly recommend this surgery center for your eye care!
Doctors and medical staff were great! Billing department will collect money from you even if they shouldn’t have. You will have to call repeatedly to get them to correct the problem and then they will blame your insurance. Poor billing department and customer service from them.
I received cataract surgery at the Cranberry Surgery Center. The pre-op, post-op and anesthesia staff are caring, professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Michael Alunni who did my surgery was awesome! I highly recommend.
First experience at the Surgery Center at Cranberry for a Cataract surgery. I was very pleased with the whole process, the center staff and Dr. Paul Phillips. The facility was convenient, clean, comforting, and the staff was professional, friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.
In my experience, the patient care staff and doctors are outstanding. Unfortunately, my interaction with those staff members last about 2 hours and I was intoxicated by the drugs I was given for the majority of that time. That said, the receptionists and billing staff lack polity and/or cannot reciprocate it. There's 1 of 2 options for payment. I was presented with an upfront cost per estimated cost by presented by the provider to my insurance. I was told I had to pay 100% of the costs 5 days away from my procedure that had been scheduled for 2 months. I asked to be billed the payment due. The response was "We don't do billing." However, I was given the option paying 50% of estimated costs without having any real idea of what my co-payment was,(they called my insurance, me calling my insurance would've resulted in the same outcome) but there was an automatic withdrawal stipulation from my account. Obviously I chose to do the 50% and payment plan that was to be spread across the course of 6 months. My insurance came back with actual cost, and I had paid well above 75%. I have yet get a single receipt, just an email stating they are going to charge what should be less than what I agrees thanking me for my cooperation even though I didn't have an option. If my other eye goes bad I'm getting it done in a hospital.
