I feel bad that a billing practice caused me to rate them less than great. The nursing staff is awesome friendly and knowledgeable. Please allow me to explain the billing process that I encountered. Medicare part B has a deductible of 183.00 a year. At Northwood I was charged the 183.00. Now I have to request a return of my 183.00 because Medicare applied my 183.00 deductible to other claims. I believe Northwood is confused with the term deductible and copays. Copays are paid at time of service deductibles are billed after the claim processing is finalized by Medicare.
