Just got home from receiving a bunionectomy. From the moment I walked in the door everyone was kind and caring. Dr. Monaco and his entire team, from nurses to the fabulous anesthesiologist, were kind, patient, professional, and gentle. They knew i was a little nervous and made sure everything was clearly explained beforehand, so I knew exactly what to expect. I felt very spoiled for the entire experience, and they had me back home under my heated blankie within 4 hours of us walking in. I could not be more grateful to their team! Thank you for taking such good care of me while I was with you. I wish I could remember all of your names!!!

I was erroneously billed over $2400 more than 14 months after my surgery. I've made over 10 phone calls to various offices over nearly 3 weeks (they have separate offices for apparently everything - billing, refunds, surgery center, orthopaedics center, etc.). The Surgery Center does agree that this bill is erroneous and yet, no one seems to have the ability to correct it. This has taken hours of my time and as of this posting, I still do not have a resolution.

BEWARE of this place! They steal your money!!! My daughter had surgery in April ‘25 and they demanded the copay payment up front or they would not perform the surgery. We made the copay payment of 1500 to the surgery center. Months go by and we get a bill from the Doctor of 1500.00. When I called the doctor’s office I told them we already paid the 1500 copay to the surgery center. They said they weren’t supposed to take that payment, the payment was supposed to go to the doctor and the insurance would pay the surgery center. I called the insurance company and they confirmed they paid the surgery center. So the surgery center got paid twice and NEVER called to tell me they owe us our money back. I had to make multiple calls to the surgery center and they admitted that they messed up and took my money when they shouldn’t have. I told them they “stole” my money and they didn’t like that word so they kept referring it as I “overpaid”. In the meantime I was sent to collections by the doctor’s office for not paying the bill that the surgery center stole from me. It is now August and no one up until this day has taken responsibility for the mistake that was made nor called me to refund my money. I had to call the surgery center multiple times demanding a refund or else I was taking legal action. They admitted that the reason they now take payment up front is because they have many patients that don’t pay their bills and they never get paid but yet they steal patients money to make up for the loss of the patients that don’t pay. This place is a SCAM and should be shut down with how they operate. If you have surgery here, please BEWARE of this issue and check with your insurance that they were paid or they will never let you know you overpaid and they will STEAL your money!

Dr. Richard Balotti and team are exceptional! The nurses and staff are incredible! I received exceptional care from admissions to the end. The knowledge, compassion and professionalism was exemplary.
