Want to thank everyone that was associated with me during Carpal tunnel surgery...my first surgery ever...such a wonderful staff always kind and caring, always making me comfortable.....thanks again for all you did
I went with much nervousness and trepidation in anticipation of spinal surgery. I had faith in my Surgeon , Dr Allister Williams. But was needless to say more than nervous. From the beginning meeting Jackie at registration I felt important. Next was Nichole at pre-op she was so thoughtful and relaxing I cannot say more about her bedside manner and professional attitude. I felt I knew what to expect and had no questions. The operating team of Dave, Saime & Lisa (Thelma and Louise) carried that same feeling of confidence and teamwork that made me feel reassured in a time of complete internal panic. My blessing and thanks to the whole facility
I was waiting for hours for someone I had brought for surgery here. I told them I would wait in the parking lot. I kept getting various phone calls that had no one on the other end. They seemed like everyday robo-calls. Finally, after an hour & getting another that was a 570 area code phone number, I decided to go inside & ask if they were calling me. Of course, for whatever reason, the back doesn't communicate with the front desk, so when I go in asking if it had been them calling, she said I don't know, I will call back there. Lo and behold, it had been them & she said you can drive around back & pick him up. So I do & I wait, and wait and wait. Finally, I get out & see a doorbell that is not easily noticed, I ring the bell. A nurse comes & I ask for my neighbor & she says we were trying to call you. We could hear you, but you couldnt hear us. Ok, why didn't someone come out to the parking lot where I said I would be? Or how about, try calling from a different number? Oh, we can't do that (go outside), After I just witnessed both nurses from the front end 1 outside & 1 holding the door. Huh? Oh, you mean that this center is nowhere near where they should be for quality care, which includes proper communication. I mean how long would they have kept him back in recovery before using some common sense & doing something different? You also would have thought that because they were trying to call me for over an hour, that he would have been dressed & ready to go but you would be wrong. I waited an additional 45mins, because of course I had all day to do nothing. Ridiculous.
I was there this past Oct 2021 for my procedure. Wonderful caring staff, Ali at the front desk was very friendly, kind and patient. Laura, the prep nurse, was also very friendly and patient. Dr. Covington has a warm personality so you feel comfortable right away. Everything was done in an orderly manner, never feeling rushed or overlooked. There is nothing negative to say. Highly recommend PASC. PS. Also shout out to Debbie and Rachel.
In all of my years of going to any hospital or medical facility this was the best care I have ever received! The entire staff from first walking into the place until the moment I left was outstanding! They were also excellent at what they do on top of having top notch bedside manner. I just want to thank each & every staff member for the exceptional work they did on my knee & excellent care they took of me. Especially Dr. Menio who was not only excellent with my knee surgery, but also personally called my wife to assure her that everything went well & I was heading into recovery. I had another knee surgery about 8 years ago & it can't compare to this experience. You guys are the best! Thank you very much!
