EDIT: I want to make sure any potential customers know what they’re getting in to. Please take time look at the most recent reviews. They add comments to any negative reviews saying they want to know about what went wrong. But here’s the thing they knew I was upset about my treatment as I left. Instead of calling me to follow up I got a generic response to my concerns. I was told I didn’t have an infection and there was nothing more to be done. I told the dr I was feeling ignored I told her I can tell something isn’t right. Wanted to update as I’m at my second opinion appointment. I was right!!!!! The dr ignored me, ignored my concerns and this practice does NOT care to follow up or help people. Everything they do is to save face. STAY AWAY THEY WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOUR CONCERNS. Felt extremely ignored. When I brought my concerns Up to the dr that I felt ignored because of my weight I was told I wasn’t even allowed to say that. I was told I have no infection but they refused to do any blood work despite the fact that days ago my white blood count was elevated. They asked me questions put the information in to a computer and told me I was low risk so there was nothing to check or do. When I told the dr I was in pain she said “if you have boobs I expect You to be in pain” I wish I had read the reviews before I came because it’s seems like a lot of people in the past few months have had issues.

Friendly heads up to avoid this location. I was sent here in Dec 2024 where my results were incorrectly read thus delaying medical treatment. I called the office to just let them know. I was not even expecting an apology; I just wanted them to be aware so it doesn't happen to anyone else. I was met with rudeness and being told I'm wrong (my test was eventually read correctly by other physicians and I reached the accurate diagnosis since). It wasn't a big deal initially. Everyone makes mistakes. However, you will never be able to trust a doctor or practice who is unwilling to live up to their mistakes (and their medical malpractice).

Dr. Pastoressa and the staff at leader surgical are top notch. Had my gallbladder out two weeks ago, it was my first surgery, and it went very well. Staff was kind and thorough. Dr. Pastoressa listened to me and was efficient and thorough. Two weeks out of surgery and I feel like I have my life back. I did not realize just how terrible I had been feeling prior to surgery until all the pain and discomfort were gone. I feel renewed and am so excited to get back to the things I love doing. So grateful for a wonderful surgeon!

Avoid this practice at all costs. Dr. Nicholson performed a surgery on me and the aftercare from the organization was atrocious. I had at least four follow-up in office appointments complaining about pain and was told “you will be fine in a week. Im your biggest cheerleader” by Dr. Nicholson. A week later I was at Wellspan York hospital for a life saving surgery after they found an infection. Had Leader Surgical heard my concerns, they could have done blood work and found infection. Instead, the only thing they cared about was the potential being sued. Dr. Nicholson should not have a license. I suffered for two months with no life because of that man and the NP Jesse Thomaz. They took an oath and they failed me. I hope at least one person reads this and goes to another facility.

I have never had as bad of an experience as I have been having with a surgeon office since my surgery back in July. Get read someone else’s report by the surgeon himself! I was expressing symptoms that started happening after surgery and got brushed off. I expressed as well on the two incisions that they are black underneath get ignored. Come to find out I have an infection! Not from them but Wellspan urgent care.
