I had to have surgery for bleeding in my stomach due to a cyst rupture. The staff raised my low heart rate and were so compassionate; from intake to nurses, anesthesiologist, the ct scans and surgery doctor and staff themselves...thank you so much! I was in so much pain and I'm so grateful for you earth angels!
Great medical facility. Thus far (I've only been using the facility a couple years, doctors and staff are pleasant and courteous. Tye physicians I've seen have been extremely knowledgeable and made sure to include me in decisions about my treatments.
Excellent - clean facility and caring staff- ICU and Urology department A+
Our experience at Lexington Medical Center was excellent. My mom had an ORIF of her right humerus with Dr. Lee, who was thorough, efficient, and had great bedside manner. An amazing pre-op nurse (from Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ) took exceptional care of my mom—kind, calm, and very informative. We stayed overnight on the 8th floor, where Tomika Cherry was absolutely outstanding. She was kind, patient, attentive, and provided exceptional care without knowing that my mom and I are both nurses. Tech Monazia (“Mo”) also handled my mom with great care. The chaplain Wayne stopped by, prayed with us, and offered much-needed encouragement. We are very grateful for the compassionate, high-quality care. Highly recommend.
Recently stayed here with my mother. Unfortunately the experience wasn’t great. Although we did have some very caring staff, there were some that were very strange, and I plan to take this further than just a review. The 4th floor is where my mother was treated. A nurse named Nate is who concerned me the most. He was very emotional about my mother not wanting to take additional medications, outside of what her doctor prescribed. He became visibly upset and angered, to the point that I had to ask him if he was ok. After that we didn’t see him again. In addition, my mother’s doctor Dr. CHING NGO on the 4th floor unit gave her the wrong medication. Even after she refused, and I advised them that she was very sensitive to medications. She was sick the entire day as a result, then he had the audacity to attempt to BLAME her for his mistake. Very questionable behavior. Nate the nurse came off as an Angel of death, attempting to force medications on people & Dr.Ngo was completely negligent. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because Haylee on the 4th floor was a pretty cool. The rest was no good. Wouldn’t return.
