Only reason I did not give the visit a 5 star rating is because my MRI was not read by 1/5 after being performed on 12/26. That may be the hospital’s fault. Dr. Wurth was very personable and professional.

BONE AND JOINT INSTITUTE FRANKLIN , TN. Dr Collin Looney is an exceptional surgeon. I have been going to him for 10 years+. He has done numerous surgeries on me.(both shoulders, hip replacement, knee replacement, reverse shoulder replacement) Always polite. He is my go to Doctor for bone and joint issues. I cannot say enough good about him! Highly reccommend him. Glad I found him years ago. Will continue to see him as long as I can.

Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee – Dr Jeffrey K Our second opinion with Dr Jeffrey K at the Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee was a much better experience. We arrived 15 minutes late and they still accepted us. The office is high tech with text based check in or an iPad. Every exam room has its own iPad outside the door that displays your name. The nurses tell you which room to go to, but the iPad also confirms your name so you know exactly which room is yours. The first visit lasted about 1 to 1.5 hours. They took an X ray within minutes and reviewed it during the same appointment. We told them we already had an MRI. They pulled it up instantly in the room and reviewed it with us in real time. Dr Jeffrey K offered multiple treatment options before surgery and explained that although surgery is still an option, he recommended trying 2 other treatments first. A major benefit is that this office participates in Cigna Pathwell and the Pathwell Bone and Joint program. Our insurance let us know that staying in the Pathwell network makes diagnostic testing, treatment, and even surgery significantly cheaper compared to going through Advance Ortho and Spine. That alone made the switch worth it. Even though the drive is longer, the quality of care, the additional treatment options, and the lower cost through Pathwell make this our preferred office. We will continue our care with Dr Jeffrey K.
