Never had the surgery. I was called Monday November 17th and told I was having surgery on Wednesday November 19th. I arrive, only to be told they needed either the $586.00 and some change or to set up an automatic payment. Was turned away because I could do neither. Staff was rude, asking several why don't you have a credit card questions. Would not simply bill me. What a horrible place. Felt very miniscule and helpless, but thank you for watching out for your bottom line. Update 9Jan2026, Received certified letter stating I was abusive and/or aggressive to staff and now have been drop from East TN ENT group. I just wanted to say that the harshest thing that was said to staff was when I was told I would have to reschedule was that "I would, but not here". NEVER, at any time was I abusive or aggressive. I even have the entire conversation recorded. It shows nothing abusive or aggressive. However, it does reveal the staff berating me for "being poor" and not having proper funds within the 2-day notice I was given. Really think this was a retaliatory decision as to my previous review. I would now like to retract my previous 1-star review and make it 0-stars, but that is not possible.

My daughter had her tonsils & adenoids removed here by Dr. White. The check in process (paperwork and copay payment) was quick. Once that was complete, we did end up waiting in the waiting room for about an hour & a half...Which seems so absurd. Why make everyone get there SO early if you aren't going to start bringing people back for surgery? Once we got to the back, things started moving quickly. All the nurses were welcoming and answered any questions / concerns we had. The discharge nurses were also amazing. I would go back here again if another surgery was necessary. Only Issue I Had: If you call the nurses station at Middlebrook Surgery Center after surgery and leave a message, they will not return your call. They would also never answer, no matter how many times you call. I ended up reaching out to Dr. White's office and they helped me promptly.

Our experience at this surgery center was absolutely unacceptable. When checking in for my daughter’s procedure, we were incorrectly told we owed an $800 deductible—despite the fact that our insurance payout had already been fully met. The front desk staff member was rude, dismissive, and made a scene in front of my daughter, even threatening to cancel the surgery. This was completely inappropriate, especially after she had just completed an extremely difficult colon prep. To avoid further distress for my daughter, I paid the $800 on the spot. Only later did I learn that I never owed this amount. Since then, I have spent four months trying to get my refund. The manager has ignored every attempt to contact them. Corporate pushed the responsibility back onto the office, and the office still refuses to take action. This level of disorganization, unprofessional behavior, and disregard for patients is shocking. No family should have to go through this. I strongly urge anyone considering this facility to be aware of how they handle billing and communication.

Caroline ,Danny ,jay, and DR Mathison make a really great team I’m so impressed by their work they were thorough with their job!!! I’m so grateful that I had a great doctor and great nurses and anesthesiologist! They had good ethics and good attitudes what a great staff! I got my devated septum fixed and I now will be able to breathe better and have a better quality of life thank God they are in my life!

I had a wonderful experience at Middlebrook Surgery Center. The staff was truly exceptional and compassionate, and the entire facility was impressively efficient. It's clear that the team takes great pride in their work, and their dedication to patient care shines through. I felt well-informed and cared for at every stage of my visit. I would absolutely recommend them.
