Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

I finally feel heard, human and not just a number. Best experience I've had at a doctors office. Dr. Schnapp's listened carefully, looked over my prior records from 3 other pain clinics that offered me help with no relief. If you need someone who listens and cares about you as a person, check him out. I thank God I finally found a doctor that explained to me what was really wrong and offer a plan for relief. Would recommend to family and friends.

Dr. Schnapp and his entire staff are truly amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely funny, and has a bedside manner that immediately puts you at ease. I’ve always felt listened to, respected, and genuinely cared for. The only thing I wish were different is a more wheelchair-friendly waiting room, but the quality of care itself is exceptional. I’m very grateful to have been referred to this practice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent experience at this pain management clinic. From the moment I walked in, the staff was professional, kind, and welcoming. The doctor truly listened to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable with my treatment plan. I never felt rushed, and my pain was taken seriously. The office was clean, organized, and well-run. I finally feel hopeful and supported in managing my pain. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate, quality care.

It was such a good experience. The office staff was so kind from setting up appointment to check out. The nurse was so nice and informative. Then Dr Greer was so thorough in describing the options I have going forward. I feel very positive about a treatment she describes as one that will help me. The office atmosphere was also very positive.

Excellent service at front desk were friendly and welcoming. They even assisted me in navigating the i-pad. The nurse was sensitive and considerate of my input and questions. Dr. Dudas actually set down and provided real doctor-patient dialogue. His competence and compassion made me felt “seen and heard.” As the Leader, he demonstrated and modeled a high brand of excellence that permeated throughout the entire staff. It would be a proud to recommend Mays and Snaps to family and friends. Stanley Brunson
