The only thing patient feels before being put to sleep and remembers for ever is "starting the I.V". The assigned nurse tried once & failed, she asked the next person who supposedly should be better at it. Easy veins, got in, started the fluid, and I said "is it supposed to be hurting". She said it is fine. But 5 minutes later there was a big lump there. Then the anesthesiologist started it "with ultrasound", supposed to be fail proof. But minutes later again a lump. Luckily for the next one I was at least half asleep. My veins were/ are good and were not at fault. If the center cares about there reputation, this is the part where they should assign there best people. Unfortunately, patients don't get to choose the facility, doctor does.
I love this place! They are knowledgeable and very caring. To top it off my Queens are very noticeable here and they rock !! I commend all of the Queens.
What can't I say about this team? They were amazing. Once I was called to the back to prep for the procedure, those ladies did an amazing job at making me feel comfortable and relaxed. My anesthesiologist, she was amazing! This was my first time having this procedure and she totally relaxed me (no pun intended). Thank you for everything you did and do everyday!
This was one of the worst medical experiences we've ever had. My wife had a scheduled colonoscopy appointment, and two days prior, the clinic called to confirm she was fully cleared for the procedure. We rearranged our entire day around this, showed up early, and then were blindsided when the front desk claimed she was not cleared and couldnât proceed. We had to track down the facility manager ourselves, who admitted it was a mistake on their end and told us she was cleared after all. No apology. No urgency. Just a shrug and âwait.â We waited... and waited. Over two hours passed, and we noticed patients who arrived well after us going in and leaving. When I went to ask what was going on, the front desk staff rudely told us the appointment had been canceled, but they "decided" to squeeze her back inâpushing it out another two hours with no explanation or courtesy. At that point, enough was enough. We expressed our frustration, and they couldnât have cared less. No one apologized, no one tried to make it right. We canceled the appointment and left. The staff just said âokayâ and walked off like it was nothing. To top it all off, when we got to the car and my wife tried calling the doctorâs office to explain what happened, they literally hung up on her. This was an incredibly unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful experience from start to finish. Avoid this place at all costs. If they can't handle scheduling and communication, how can anyone trust them with actual medical care?
Letâs start here!! Shout out to my obgyn for giving me a full hysterectomy at 29 years old. Dr. G is the best and he knows exactly what he is doing. When Dr. G and the Anesthesiologist walked in my room and explained what medication I will be receiving before and after surgery was the best part for međ My nurses and doctor made sure I was very comfortable and of course my nerves were very relaxed. My anesthesiologist walked me through the IV portion and thatâs all i remember. Waking up in recovery while everyone is calling my name is a funny moment because they claim I was singing and did not respond to themđ my doctor did an amazing job with the incisions and recovery for 6 weeks. lol the nurses were funny and nice. The nurses did the math and statedâ Youâre 29 in February having surgery and turn 30 in March and canât do nothingâđ they wasnât lying. For 6 weeks I walked around with sports bras and shorts. Them incisions was no joke and I couldnât drive⌠oh yeah the memories I must say. Before surgery I did schedule a consultation with my insurance and of course I was good. Always have money on standby just in case something happens. My surgery was paid in full before pulling up!! The customer service was phenomenal.
