Thumbs down for Dr. Varvel; presumptuous, poor timing in decision making, and a failure to communicate -- even after my phone calls and an email inquiry -- ultimately culminating in a passive-aggressive disrespectful experience from him. I spoke to one of his previous patients this week; with their testimony along with my experience last week, I would no longer feel comfortable in him performing my surgery. To be clear: Bonnie was wonderful and delightful, but I feel treating without proper respect or attention by Dr. Varvel.

TRE Center is always professional and the appointment time is always very close to the time I'm always called back. My last visit was to see Dr Everson. He is thorough and listens to his patients. Can't say enough good about him.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Jake Young. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly examine my eye and explain my condition in detail. He walked me through the procedure step by step and answered all of my questions patiently, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed. The staff at the Regional Eye Center were friendly, polite, and professional. They did a great job performing the necessary tests and clearly explained each step of the process. The reception staff was also very accommodating, and I was able to schedule an appointment fairly quickly. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Young and the Regional Eye Center for anyone seeking quality eye care.
