Beneath the Mask

My husband is a veteran and needed surgery the VA Hospital has done multiple times. After going to North Pines Surgery center, my husband was so surprised at how nice all the staff have been to him. As a former medical office manager and medical assistant, I told him, "That's how medical care is supposed to be!!" I am so pleased with everyone at this office. They are patient, friendly, and efficient. I know the VA Hospital is difficult to work with, and stingy with their payments, so I truly appreciate that you accept TriWest, because not everyone does, and that's unfortunate for our veterans. Again, thank you for such a pleasant experience, which is in stark contrast to how the VA treats my husband. I applaud you!!

My husband recently had a procedure done here. Check in was great, nurses were great. Then, there is no communication as to the procedure/post op in recovery. They said - there is a screen - it will tell you where he is and how long. Well - the "screen" was not working! Next they call to drive around he is ready to go. They told him - as he is in recover AFTER anesthesia (and other medical problems) them explain to him the aftercare and timelines. Very briefly went over surgical site care with me as they are standing at the car. He will not be going back to this facility. And has anyone looked at the claims they file on your insurance?? Outrageous! They changed, JUST the surgery center, for less than 4 hour timeline - almost $585,000. Of course the insurance does not pay that entire amount. Can you say price gouging!?!? He has had many surgeries, and never have I ever seen an amount this large for an outpatient procedure! Terrible and Dishonest!!!!

My experience at the facility was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the professionalism, warmth, and expertise of the entire staff. The nurses were extraordinarily kind, attentive, and highly professional, ensuring that every step of my visit was handled with the utmost care and precision. Safety and sterilization protocols were clearly a top priority, and it showed in every detail. I arrived 45 minutes early, expecting a long wait, but to my surprise and delight, they graciously took me in almost immediately. I barely spent five minutes in the waiting room before being escorted to the back. The team quickly got me prepped and ready, and within 20 minutes, the star of the show, Dr. Millet, arrived. Dr. Millet entered the room like a warrior prepared for battle, dressed in his “Darth Vader suit” and exuding confidence and skill. He and his team worked seamlessly, and I can confidently say the results were nothing short of life-changing. I feel like I have a new lease on life, and I couldn’t be more grateful. A special shoutout to Dr. Millet and his incredible team—from the receptionist to the nurses to the representatives who took the time to explain the product in detail before the procedure. Every single person was outstanding. This level of care and attention to detail was a first for me, and I am beyond impressed. Thank you, Dr. Millet, and thank you to the entire staff for your perfection and professionalism. You’ve truly made a lasting impact on my life!

Dr. Millet does a great job. The staff here are all professional and courteous. The facilities are clean. I have had several procedures here and everything was great.
