The surgery itself went fine. Leading up to the surgery I was told I needed to have someone present in the waiting room ready to drive me home after a minor surgery. I have had three other procedures this year at other facilities and in my life. This is the first time I've heard that requirement. I had arranged for it but when I was called to go over my health history yet again and eventually be told the time to arrive on Tuesday from a possible 5-hour window, the nurse I was speaking with on the phone said it was all right to rideshare there and get picked up as I had done so many other times. Both the original admitting nurse was skeptical that my ride would for sure show up to pick me up and poised the question of where he was right now. They also wanted to call to verify it at 7:00 in the morning. After that they sent in the hospital administrator who continued to badger me and explained to me I could not take rideshare home etc. While angered I was able to convince the hospital administrator I had a reliable ride and in fact he did pick me up. These surgeries are annoying to deal with as it is difficult for a single person to find someone who can commit to picking you up sometime on a 5-hour window... And it might not be till the day before. You know exactly what time you're at. On a weekday that generally most people are working. To further ask someone to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours is that much more difficult. While it is the law, it is somewhat silly that for minor procedures, your wheeled out in a wheelchair and you can't take a ride share home. I'm a middle-aged career professional who just paid a significance deductible through my insurance for this expensive minor procedure and deserve better than to be treated like a child over this issue. To boot, I asked for a copy of my bill for my HSA in email and of course it wasn't sent. I will not use this outpatient surgery center again. If a doctor uses it exclusively, I will find another doctor.

Had a great experience as a parent of a child getting surgery at this center. The waiting area had charging ports, was clean, and had a coffee bar. The front office staff (Megan), Preop, and the Postoperative nurses were attentive, reassuring, and caring.

Beware of this surgery center. My wife had her surgery date booked for 2 months. They waited until the day before the surgery to contact her and let her know that she would need to pay an insane amount of money for the surgery to proceed. I don’t for one minute believe that they chose the day before to call the insurance company and see what the out of pocket would be and then make the call to her. To top it off, they acted like they were doing her a favor by putting her on a payment plan when she told them to cancel the surgery. This place does shady business and if you have the chance to have your surgery elsewhere, please do so.

Dr. Joel Hurt and his staff were incredible for my daughter’s surgery yesterday. It was the small details that made the experience a pleasant one. The care, thoughtfulness, compassion, and dedication really impressed me. The facility is fresh, clean and did not feel like a surgical center. Highly recommend.

--Edit-- I'm dropping 2 stars as they sent me a so called adjustment bill months after the surgery. And, they don't even have an online payment system, you either email or call the number on the bill and waste your time .. Amazing hospitality, great stuff, very friendly, kind, gentle! We had an amazing experience with Dr. Slaughter and all his team. Special thanks to Dr. Slaughter, the kind lady doctor anesthesiologist (I'm extremely sorry that I couldn't remember your name) , the nurses Zena, Derek, and Lorena. They took very good care of my wife! They brought extra heated blankets for her, carefully monitored her before and after the surgery. Answered all our questions. You guys are doing great, thank you for touching people's life's.
