2 stars for my doctor and anesthesiologist. They were great. The nurse who checked me in and was in charge while I waited for surgery was VILE. Snotty, rude, caused my already high blood pressure to spike. She kept saying I shouldn't have surgery. Thankfully, my doctor took over when she arrived. Worst pre-surgery experience ever, that is still upsetting a couple of years later.
My sister was a patient here at this facility, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The quality of care did not meet reasonable expectations and the staff came across as rude and dismissive. Cleanliness was also a concern, particularly the bathrooms they have the patients use, they were not very well maintained. Overall the experience was stressful and not what we hoped for. We will not return.
I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to the entire hospital staff for the outstanding care and compassion I received. From the moment I arrived, every member of the team treated me with kindness, patience, and professionalism. The nurses went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, always checking in with a smile and genuine concern. The doctors took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel safe and confident in my care. Even the support staff—those who greeted me, kept the rooms clean, and provided meals—showed such warmth and respect. In a time when I needed both medical excellence and human compassion, this hospital staff truly delivered both. Their teamwork, dedication, and heartfelt service made a difficult experience so much easier, and I will forever be thankful. Thank you for the outstanding care—you are all a true blessing. PS, Thanks to the following Staff Front Desk Leticia she was amazing every Hospital need someone like her, checking in patient and explaining everything to them, Pre Op- Nurses Cynthia aka Cindy and Stacy they both made me feel so comfortable from the time I was put in my room to set me up for surgery The A-Team, thank you both Dr End and Stephanie thank for relaxing me before my surgery, The good Medicine lol, Phase 1 and 2 the recovery Team. If you value your health and it matters to you that you have trustworthy doctors, nurses, and other staff responsible for your care, absolutely do not have a procedure done here. On 2/26/25 I had a hysteroscopy for retained placenta at TH Women’s Specialty Surgery Center that resulted in a major (completely avoidable) complication I could have died from. While actively hemorrhaging in the post-op room, I was told I was getting discharged from the facility. Because I was concerned and scared, I showed the nurse (Minerva) my active bleeding, but she assured me it was safe to leave - so we did. Less than 30 minutes after I was discharged from the surgery center, I ended up across the street in the emergency room due to the hemorrhaging. I was put on medication to stop my bleeding and my OB had to remove really large blood clots manually. I also had to stay overnight in the hospital for monitoring. The entire experience was horrific and could have been prevented by being kept for post-op monitoring and addressing the hemorrhage at the surgery center rather than sending me out the door. I’ve worked in healthcare all my life and cannot believe this facility is still in business after the experience I had. They seem to move patients through like cattle, and it felt to me like they had no empathy. After I had physically and mentally healed from the ordeal, I called and spoke with both Teresa and Gina (administrators at the surgery center). Teresa seemed understanding, but Gina hung up on me mid conversation. How’s that for patient care? Run, don’t walk - elsewhere!
I got a bill of $2400 I called my insurance and they were like no way. After they reviewed it they could see where they piled on more unnecessary charges. I had an IUD replaced and that’s it. It’s more charges added. If I ever have to do it again I will not use this facility. I’m looking to find a new OB that does not use this facility. My insurance company told me the charges are unnecessary. They really tried to have them remove the extra and they won’t. So now I have to pay $2400. Be careful going here. It’s months later and I just got the bill.
