I have been seeing Dr.Shaikh since 2020 when he was with BSW. I want to say that I love him & Lisa…no issues with them. After he went to TX Health Partners, I had no issues with the Carrollton office. However, my 1st visit to the Denton office has been extremely stressful. 1st, they charged me for a self pay visit, $225 vs my $45 co-pay even though the front staff had my insurance card & a referral was required b4 I could be seen. I did not ask for a receipt as I assumed I would be debited for my co-pay. I realized on 10/17 the error & the office/billing manager Kim tried to credit me back & deduct my co-pay. That didn’t work so she said I would get a full refund of $225 & I would call my co-pay in. Ckd account on 10/18 & $45 was credited back but $225 was still being deducted. My bank said they put a merchant hold on the refund. I called that Mon & was told that the merchant wouldn’t authorize the refund so they were going to mail a refund ck. I made it known again I had insurance premiums coming out & needed that $ to be overnighted. On 10/23, Kim called to tell me that someone was on their way to mail my ck. She verified my address which was an old one from 2023….I get mail from their office at my current address…so there was no excuse for this. She said she’d try & stop him & get another ck mailed to me. 10/20, 10/21 & 10/22 & no check. S/W Kim on the 22nd & was told it was mailed, not overnighted to me on 10/20. All I got was excuse after excuse with a token apology. Got my ck today & it’s short $80!!!!!!!!!! On top of that, I was notified late on 10/21, that I had to come back in & give another urine sample because the one I gave on the 16th was not enough. Mind you, I was there for about an hr that day & they saw my sample sitting there & said nothing about it not being enough. I have to Uber to my appointments which is costly on a fixed income. Spent over $25 today for Uber only to be shorted $80 on my refund ck! I have called 3 times to speak to someone in the past 30 minutes & I’m transferred to a vm. If it weren’t for the fact that I don’t have a car, I would probably opt to go to another location but can’t because of Uber cost.
