Got an endoscopy and colonoscopy. This was probably the nicest medical experience of my life. Right from reception to the lady accompanying me to the door after the procedure, every single person was so sweet. My procedure was delayed by like 15 mins (which is not a lot but you know how awful the prep makes you feel, I was sooo thirsty!). However the receptionist delivered the news of the delay so kindly, I was perfectly happy to wait. This goes to show a simple smile and kind word can make all the difference. I wish I knew her name, she is the lady who called all the patients ma'am/sir. Thank you!!!
I had an colonoscopy. Everyone from front desk to nurses and doctor were amazing. I felt comfortable. Very courteous, friendly, caring and attentive staff. I felt so at peace. I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Dr Vemula was great and personable. The preop nurse, Devonce and the anesthesiologist were also wonderful. The office itself is the worst I've ever dealt with. It's impossible to reach a person in real time and callers are required to text or leave a message. There were a few mishaps but the most disappointing was the delivery of my results. The person who called me was a little insensitive and was not helpful when I asked questions. It left me feeling as if I need to get a second opinion on next steps and seek other guidance which I will. I won't go back to Lone Star Endoscopy but will instead ask for a referral elsewhere when the time comes again for the next procedure.
I had a horrible experience today, December 30th 2025 I was there for my colonoscopy and endoscopy with Doctor Andrew Holt I had to wait for long time two hours. I checked in at 10:15 but doctor did explain that he got busy with a patient anyways finally nurse called me and told me She’s my nurse and my room is #1 then she asked me to go to the Bathroom to change in my gowns and leave my stuff there, so I asked her can I change in room# 1 She told me NO I felt like the bathroom was nasty place to change since it’s a Public bathroom Also, they’re going to charge my insurance company for the proper room, but the Nurse is making me changing in a nasty bathroom I have never experienced anything like this in my life my own bathroom gets cleaned five times a day and I still Don’t change in my bathroom Bad hygiene and horrible customer service!!!!😡
Dr. Neil Mehta has performed all of my colonoscopys (20 years). Honestly, he's the only reason why I haven't developed colon cancer, since I'm prone to have pre-cancerous colon polyps, which he removed during my colonoscopys, at Lone Star Endoscopy. He's simply the best, bar none!!! His nursing staff is top notch, & leaves no stone unturned (Jason, Devonee, Whitney, Laura, & Ruez)! For inquiring minds, who want to know, I was not paid to provide this review!
