Efficient staff! Special thank you to nurse Shonda RN for her compassion in caring for my son post procedure. She explained his anesthesia recovery expectancy to the minute! That warmed my heart β€οΈ me being a retired RN it was refreshing to see a nurse really caring about and for her patients. Something you dont really see often. She really π her patients and you feel you are her priority. ππ» Shonda is an asset to Medical Cntr Endoscopy. Dr. D. Ball is awesome as ALWAYS!!:... he's such a caring Physician
Would give negative stars if I could. My husband was in for a colonoscopy and had some complications afterwards and he called and they totally dismissed him and were mostly unconcerned - when it was actually quite bad. We ended up at the ER / ICU for 3+ days and he had to have a repeat colonoscopy to stop the bleeding and treat the infection given to him by these incompetent people. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOU HEALTH.
This review is for nurse Cathy only, My experience with nurse Cathy after my endoscopy was extremely disappointing. I expected basic compassion, especially right after a procedure, but that is not what I received. When I asked for a warm blanket, she refused to give me one even though I clearly heard the patient next to me being given one. Instead of checking on my comfort or safety, she rushed me through discharge so quickly while I could barely walk straight. When I expressed why and how unwell I felt, she brushed me off and said she βsees 50 patients a day,β as if that justifies it. Whether you see 5 patients or 500, every patient deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. I did not receive free care; I paid for my services, I deserved the same basic courtesy and safety any patient should expect. Being pushed out the door while I was still disoriented and unable to walk properly was unacceptable. I truly hope she reflects on how she treats patients in vulnerable moments. Compassion is not optional in nursing. Do better!!!!
After my colonoscopy+endoscopy, I received 5 separate bills totaling about $600. I have bxbstx which cover the expenses of the colonoscopy but this facility outsources anesthesia and lab services, so that it's impossible to get to the bottom of what was billed and why it turned out to be so expensive. The names of the providers of anesthesia and lab services are given to you ON PAPER (not in my chart) at check-in. You are supposed to check with your insurance right there and then (i.e., right before the procedure) if those services are covered. It seems like a total scam to me.
This was one of the best patient experiences Iβve ever had! From check in to pre-op to PACU, everything & everyone were stellar. This is a busy clinic handling a large number of patients. Nonetheless, I felt cared for. Things were explained to me and questions encouraged. Nurses & techs were professional & positive. My wonderful Dr. Wolf saw me before & after my procedures. How nice! And - they have great music in the procedure room!
