The day crew was absolutely amazing today! I felt so comfortable and actually happy to be there. My nurse Liz and student Kendall made me feel like top priority the whole time I was there! Thank you to everyone there today 💕

I was diagnosed with a very large kidney stone. The folks detected this anddetermined that i needed a specialist not available in Palestine. They arranged transport to the UT Health center in Tyler. The folk at PRMC were wonderful, professional and caring. The reduction in stars was due to the TERRIBLE ambulance ride to Tyler. Tha ambulance personnel were wonderful and professional, but the ambulance itself was very cold and the wheel noise was so loud and resonant as to literally damage hearing. This must be remedied.

I was involved in a four-wheeler accident and went to the hospital to be evaluated. At the time of discharge, I was informed that I had a sprained shoulder and a chest contusion. Two weeks later, I received a letter stating that a thyroid nodule had been identified, which prompted me to request a copy of the CT report to review the size of the nodule. While reviewing the report, I discovered that it documented a posterior dislocation of the medial clavicle from the sternoclavicular joint—an injury that typically requires surgical intervention. This finding was clearly stated multiple times throughout the report. However, this diagnosis was never communicated to me, nor was it included in my discharge paperwork. Additionally, it appears the report was completed before the physician discussed my results with me, raising concerns that the report may not have been fully reviewed prior to discharge. Now, more than three weeks later and with the holidays approaching, I am experiencing significant difficulty finding an orthopedic surgeon to address this injury, resulting in unnecessary delays in care. Hospital cleanliness was excellent, and the nursing staff was caring and professional. Unfortunately, my experience with the medical provider was disappointing due to a lack of communication and apparent oversight of critical imaging findings.

On Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 I was admitted to Palenstine Regional for Acute pancreatitis. I was evaluated and admitted quickly, everything about the experience, so far, was excellent. It was unfortunate that I pissed off my nurse because the care I received, after admittance, was borderline abusive. She sedated me and disappeared. When I did come around for a minute, to vomit, it was another nurse that assisited me. My nurse was no where to be found, I was very disoriented and falling out of my bed, because my nurse did not put up the guard rails. The nurse I was assigned to, came back in, gave me a shot for nausea and that was the last time I saw her. When my husband returned, I was lying in a pool of sweat from the pain and my IV had popped out of my arm. My husband told me, it was an entirely different nurse that helped my husband and I to the vehicle. I was sedated, I did'nt rememer that. It is unfortunate that we can't be human to people in their time of need regardless of all prejudice, including the one the nurse thought I had. I want to end with, everyone else provided me with excellent care!!! But the nurse!

Where I live I have the choice to go to a few different hospitals that are about the same distance. I chose here every time. The doctors and nurses are kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I just want to thank everyone involved in my care over the years! THANK YOU! I’ve been coming here for about 18 years now when I have a problem. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and I really don’t know how many other hospitals can say this but the food is usually GOOD!
