I am a patient of Dr. Gadol’s. I had an upper and lower endoscopy here. Just wanted to take the time to say thank you to Dr. Gadol and his team, the pre-op, circulating , post op nurses and even the anesthesiologist were all wonderful. I was comfortable and felt confident in my care team. As a nurse I always pay attention to the teamwork as medical professionals and the care I receive, and I feel this clinic was top notch. Thank you guys for your excellent service.

This surgery center is unreachable reach by phone. They will not answer, they do not call back and the option to speak to an operator immediately hangs up on you. Their billing practices of calling, texting and sending collections letters to you when insurance is processing the claim is very frustrating.

I have had multiple issues with this clinic. I was set for a colonoscopy in June and was asked prior to my procedure if I wanted to take pills or liquid preparation. I selected pills, and when I picked up my prescription from my pharmacy, I received the liquid preparation. I attempted to contact the office for further instruction (as my instructions received only related to the pills) but could not get in touch with anyone. My procedure was the next day, so I followed the directions (to the letter, not wavering one bit) which accompanied the liquid bottles. My colonoscopy was cut short as the Dr. said my preparation was not sufficient and did not provide the Dr. with a clear enough view to be able to proceed. We agreed I would need more preparation time for the next attempted procedure. No big deal, right – I’m sure it happens often as our bodies are all different. Following this, I then received a bill from the clinic for over $2,000, surprising me to say the least. When I contacted my insurance company, they let me know the procedure was coded as diagnostic instead of screening, and this was not covered. (The original procedure was to be 100% covered as a pre-screening tool.) I contacted the clinic next, who – upon review of my file – affirmed it was coded as diagnostic instead of screening. After multiple calls over 3 weeks, I was finally able to speak to the business office manager (Michelle) who now is telling me I may be on the hook for the costs because of how the Dr. transcribed the procedure, and the fact that the procedure was cut short because of visibility – even though I followed the directions from the prescription I was provided, was not told of any costs associated with this, and was not allowed to approve any potential costs. I believe this location is closing soon as the Dr. (Sarah Boostram) is leaving, but even so – if you can avoid this one, do so. This seems very fishy to me, at best, because how many people even bother to push back on a bill once received, whereas they just pay it instead. Pathetic! As well, their logic in sending me any sort of bill or coding this as “diagnostic” is extremely flawed. I entered the colonoscopy “SCREENING” as I understood it, and it was still a screening when the procedure ended. There was never a moment when it became diagnostic, not for a second!

I had the best experience here! From check in to checking out, the service was top notch. Everyone seemed to be happy to be there. They really made me feel safe to have my procedure. Afshana, RN was my check in nurse and she was phenomenal. Dr. B and Ms Venita were also exceptional. They explained everything and were very caring. Highly recommend
