This facility does charge a lot. The recovery nurse was very rude and didn’t care that I was very dizzy and nauseous. I was rushed to get discharged no matter how I was feeling . The room was just spinning as I was being helped to a wheelchair to be wheeled to our car. She gave me too much Fentanyl every time I said I was still dizzy or in pain until I said Idid not want anymore. She didn’t even care to think that that could have made me feel worse! Headache and nausea lasted for 3 days after surgery. Got a message from the surgery center to check how and I was doing and if I wanted a nurse yo call. I said , yes, but never got a call.
I had cataract surgery in July and in November it finally got paid. I received a text on November 7 that I owe $60.72 due December 25th. Since November 7th I have gotten 6 text 6 emails and 3 phone calls that I owe 60.72. I called she told me she would take it off from receiving the messages and I'm still getting them. Payment Due $60.72 View Statement due December 25, 2024
In 49 years, I have never seen a staff so amazing. They made me so comfortable and warm while waiting. I had surgery today on my hand by Dr. Christopher English. He was absolutely amazing. I have never had a doctor pray for me with me like he did. I highly recommend this team and Dr. English. 💯 they are just absolutely fabulous. Thank you to everyone who was there with me today, making sure I was okay and I was going to be okay. When I woke up, they all came in at separate times to make sure I was okay.
1. Healther their coordinator says you have to have someone sit the whole time and wait . Is healther going to pay for their time missing work and can't out food on their table 2. Insurance company has approved rideshare like safe ride. Not Uber or Lyft .no one should waist their time using these two companies. Most insurance company pay rideshare and screen for safety 3.always check to see if there going to be backed up be because they forced people in waiting area I guess Healther has armed guard at door not allowing people to leave even for smoke, bathroom or get snack 4.. patient family driver don't have rights. They can drop you off and pick you up 5. Billing always a problem do not pay more than what your insurance company tell you. If you have problem call insurance company before you pay find out your co pay ahead of time. 6. check for any lawsuits on this company. If you can't find a driver your screwed. So your have to live without having surgery I got different MD that uses different facility and had better luck with that. They tell you surgery 10 minutes but you and your driver spend over 3 hours is waist of time. 4. Can't hold your driver hostage there's should be drop off and pick up area. 5. It's hard enough to find someone out of there busy schedule in first place and take lost of pay. CEO should be sued for lost of wages etc . 7. Sounds like this center been sued a lot . 8. Come up with better options like have you buddy sign you in and come back to pick you up . Or use ride share that pre approved. 10. I got second opinion and found eye MD who used different center they except driver drop off and pick up and don't have to have your driver hang out. They can go home or shop. Go to different center or request doing it in a hospital it cost few bucks more but you can do that Shop around and if need to get another doctor do it. In my 39 years in healthcare I never heard of this type of company policy's. That's crazy . It's all about money and there not providing healthy options . Educational note. Good luck Safety important but there's options Even if you can find a retired person you still need pay for their time and gas. Never take advantaged of people. This company only cares about money not accommodations for patients. Your doctor not willing to use different center that allows ride share get new doctor. You should always get second opinion . You don't have to have any kind of operations there .shop somewhere else Billing is terrible they don't take payments Mae said . Don't have full payment well good luck. Don't schedule until you have full payment .
Had a procedure done the staff was amazing from the front desk Priscilla to the nurses Nick, Nicole and Wendy they were all great. the anesthesiologist Shelby was amazing she talked me through the whole thing step by step. And of course Dr. Bowden she was awesome. It was an overall amazing experience, I never take the time to write a review but these employees were all amazing. I appreciate all of you that made my procedure go smoothly.
